Hello BC Furries,
I'm new to the forum but an experienced seamstress. I am university trained in costuming for film and theatre and that is how I have been making my living for the past bunch of years. I specialize in mascot costumes and unusual fabrics, but really I can make anything.

I also do a lot of local commissions (and some remote ones) but as far as offering furry commissions go, I'd rather offer them here if I have any takers, instead of to all of FA. Particularly if you are in the Vancouver area, or even the Fraser Valley. So, drop me a line if you need anything sewn. I have made everything from mascots, to spandex body suits, to realistic cat butts (not in a sexual way), to shorts that look like they're made of beef jerky, and so much more.

Hi shagpoke! I may have to bother you sometime about a large ottertail. Proper rudder-buttedness is achieved by actually having a rudder, and my tail selection right now doesn't include one!

Hello again! I have been giving myself a bit of a break from working on heads to make a few premade tails. They're up for grabs if anyone is interested. If you want to buy any of them I can meet you along the transit line, or I am driving down the Valley this weekend, so I could meet you somewhere near the freeway on Friday or Sunday if you're in Langley, Abbotsford, Chilliwack, etc.
I will also have a premade white domestic cat head finished pretty soon, as well as a grey/white canine head.

It's about 36" long and has 2 loops of nylon webbing to thread a belt through, no stretching like with elastic!

I decided I was unhappy with the eyes and ears so I totally redid them, I'm much happier with it now. Selling this head for $700 OBO

Currently in the works I have an otter tail and a freestanding squirrel tail!
Do you put weights in your tails ever? :3 (Just so they give a slight more realistic sway when you walk) In the future (when the funds are available) I would like to get a feline like tail. ^^
So far I've mostly just been making tails that are densely stuffed. I made a lion tail as a part of a commission a few months ago, and for that one I used a braided wire core, which gave it a great bounce and sway, though I'm not sure how well that method would work for thicker tails. I'm looking into alternative methods for the insides of tails right now, but I've mostly been working on making them lighter, haven't thought about the opposite! :P It's definitely something I could do if a customer requests it though!
You have no idea how desperately I want that white cat head, but there is no way that I'd be able to afford it.
