So who thinks this is all a dream or something along that line?

So who thinks this is all a dream or something along that line?
dream? no way!!! more like a nightmare
All just stars and dust
Oh god how many times I get stuck in this loop lol, one of my more common ones is "in a parallel universe..." or even thinking out how events would change in a sort of domino effect way if one particular action or event did/ did not occur.
Somewhere, in a parallel universe, there is a red dragon who is thinking about this mythical race called Humans, and he is very obsessed. XD
I like to think it's a simulation or virtual reality, and when I die, I'll wake up in a whole new world and suddenly remember that it wasn't real, but I'll look back on it with great fondness and satisfaction, only to go back in and live another life filled with run-on sentences.
You're actually in a technilogically advanced warehouse. Those lapses is time and flutters in light while travelling are actually cue points where the environment is reset to simulate your destination. You've never actually travelled more then 40km from since you were first adopted into this program.
You're actually an old and very rich man but you've wanted to relive your life. After skin graphs, constant body mods and mind hypnosis you've adopted a new path of life. Those people you call family are actually actors you pay to make your 'younger' life seem plausible.
You live in a very erratic and chaotic world that bends and twists in every direction. You're trying to figure something out, so you've created a thought state with stable properterties that you're able to connect references together to give you a different perception before returning back to your regular state.
Your life and the things around you, the galaxy you live in, the universe you're in are actually the sub microscopic workings working together to support another being living upon a higher plane of existence.
The edges of OUR galaxy is framed in glass since we're just a science experiment made to study the creation of life.
You are what people refer to as a god. You've created this world to stimulate yourself. There's nothing that matters more then the habits you adopt upon your core.

I always thought that too. Or maybe, we're just one of many simulations run to see how humans survive long term, or any one of any other millions of scientific experiments. Hell maybe we're some 7th grader from 3674's science project or something like that.
Seems to me that if it was all a simulation, realizing that fact would immediately lead to the simulation being rendered useless, and the subject awoken. B:
Does it ever seem not real, like what your looking at is fake?

But what if it doesn't?! And this is really a simulation, and even if you know, you'll never snap out of it until you die.
I hope there's a spectator mode. I'd like to see what my simulated friends and family are still doing :U

Maybe the spirits people claim to see are people stuck in a spectator mode X3
Define "dream". :)
Ultimately we have no way of knowing what is truly "real", what is an illusion or how we could even know what "reality" means. Sure, we can do all kinds of measurements, build up scientific theories and test them, and science has been a wonderful tool for broadening our understanding of the universe. But who knows if that even means anything in the bigger picture... a fish in a pond might try to find out everything there is to know about its world but would never be able to discover, let alone understand, the greater space (reality?) that encompasses the pond as well as entire oceans and much more.
Not that it matters ultimately... Or does the idea that everything you think you know might be wrong change your everyday life? ;)
