Just wondering if anyone else on the site knows how to glowstring, glowstick, or do poi...?
I'm not very good at it (and rusty as FFFF) but i have poi and have learned how to use them : ) (beginner though.)
My roommate/bffl knows how to poi and glowstick. He's really good at it!
Oooh, that's awesome! So, I'm not the only one.
I'm just started learning near christmas time and hadn't had much time to practice but so far, I've got some decent knowledge of it. ^^; Only wish I can practice with someone, might make it cool. Late at night, practicing in some park somewhere with another fur... Yeah. *Giggles* Wish you were in Victoria area. ^^;;
I think there is a poi group in victoria (non furs). Might want to google search that.
If it was a group thing and you were closer sure! But i am horrible at one on one practicing lol. -i am not very good at conversation nor that great at poi so. i'd get to embarrassed-
Don't worry. I usually can't hold a conversation more than ten minutes in person and am, most likely, equally as bad. So, if we ever got a group going of it, we'd probably reminess in our suck of the art. ^^;
I do glowstringing/poi. But I've been super out of practice, and I only know basic moves unfortunately.
I do some poi and have a lot of connections to a group for in in Vancouver. They are currently working on their fire poi... they are AMAZING and very VERY fur friendly
I used to practice poi spinning a tonne a few years ago. I haven't done it in forever though. :c
I think this post just inspired me to go make some new ones and start practicing again :-3
Poi is a style of dance I can appreciate.
... Rather then me looking it up on google I will openly Admit that I have no Idea what you are all talking about. can someone explain?

I do some glow and some poi XP just combine them both. Not very great so far im more of a juggler but i do practice poi :P

Regretfully, I'm not. I'm still a closet fur and deeming an entire trip to Vancouver for even a weekend (without any ulterior motive) would be hard to swing by my parents... :/
Though, I'm always up for gatherings around the island. I could bring my flowlights...
