Hey new to the bc furry board! Im a surry furry so yay me... "Surrey" :P
Just was wondering if anyone was into writing there own music and composing in general. I run a recording studio thing and have a fun time working on bits and bobs with various bands, but mostly by myself.
So I ask of you. What equipment and training in music do you have?
I wanna know! From garage band so a full Protools HD setup.

I just have a Mac Pro (2009/Nehalem) w/ a Griffin iMic setup for doing some direct-in guitar tracks and quick-and-dirty demos. I write material using Guitar Pro (http://www.guitar-pro.com/ (http://www.guitar-pro.com/)), export the MIDI tracks into Logic Express (prev. just Garageband), and start re-tracking them with the real instruments one by one with the existing MIDI tracks softsynthed as my backing as I go. :p
I don't have a drumkit or the gear to record a drumkit (nor can I really play that well), so typically I use the Ultrabeat/drum synth stuff to cover that and just retrack all the guitars, bass, and vocals. I don't really have anything done in Logic as I haven't played with it much, but I do have some old old tracks done in Garageband. Hard rock, I guess:
