I know I'm only about 2 hours away, and lots of people frequent the border, however, we also all look through auctions and what not. If you see this head contact Fenrir's child. That's the pits that someone deliberately stole from another. :< http://fenrirschild.deviantart.com (http://fenrirschild.deviantart.com)
I mean, that just not cool man. that ain't cool at all. Especially now that she's stuck trying to come up with the refund for the customer. Just ouch.
Who the fuck steals a head of all things O.o
A head isn't one of those thing you can easily hide or sell and especially among furries.
Aye, I heard about this on Facebook. I hope the chav gets brought to justice.
That is unfortunate and the criminal(s) will go very little. Considering that this has been spreading out and about you will be able to do very little. Though definitely worth keeping eyes open as well as keep reminding that the head has been stolen on a weekly basis or every two weeks.
The person who stole this will never be able to wear this head in the open without another furry catching them. XDD I know I will definitely remember it.
(Btw, I love this fursuit artist!)
That's unfortunate.
I hope they wear it to a con and get caught, that would be utterly hilarious! a furry head is like the dumbest thing to steal ever, it's so easily identifiable and unique!

Exactly, feet, paws or even a tail would be a better option. Person was not thinking.
Unless this person is a genius and what they did was hire someone to make their head, then get someone to steal it for them. Now the get a refund and a head.
Out of all the things I've heard about people stealing this has to be one of the dumbest.

I think this is what one calls over reading into a situation, the fandom has some sleazy people sure but best to give a benefit of a doubt instead of pulling a geezer and assuming everyone is out to do the worst.
Now I'm wondering what economic profits can this criminal get from stealing a fursuiter's head.
What I think will probably happen is that the person who took it will end up selling it to some unwitting buyer who doesn't know where it came from, and that person will show up at a furry convention and get mauled by hate and accusations without knowing what it is they did wrong. I don't think the furry community is so close knit as to make it impossible or even that difficult to sell something like this. xD I mean I'd never heard of Fenrirschild before and I'm sure there's thousands like me.

Thinking it about that way, if I ever did see somebody wearing it I think I'd be more polite about the whole ordeal now, like first just asking where they got it, who made it, ect, ect. :\
But the problem is, you can't directly incarcerate someone for wearing it as being the direct thief, like Rue has stated...the hard part is to get the proof of whether the person who is wearing it is the person that has stolen it, a suspected co-conspiritor, or whether the person was just an oblivious customer.
You can be charged with possession of stolen property regardless of whether you were the thief or not. Once you're in jail pending trial, they can begin investigation on who actually stole it, but the possession charge would allow them to hold whomever had it and then they could go from there to find out whether or not they were knowingly in possession of it or not.
Most likely situation: Skull fucked it, then threw it out.
