Usually, I wouldn't be posting these "Facebook-esque updates" on forums, but furs, seriously, you should all take a look out your windows at just how beautiful the moon is tonight. About time for the Mid-Autumn Festival, if I should say so myself!
:-3
aawhhhaaoooooohh00oooo
The moon has been amazing this month throughout its cycle. It's been quite bright and I've several shades of colors. Very fitting for a change of seasons
This new moon sure has been a bright one alright, I went out for a nice late night walk yesterday around 9pm, didn't need a flashlight 80% of the time ^.=.^
In the remote dark trails of Pitt Meadows late last night, Yotie and I used the moonlight alone to see.
A full moon was my inspiration for this image:

Deer can see me to well in the moonlight :(
....OOOooo...
darn!
one night too late...
Not the best photo that I took last night, but this would do. The moon's supposed to be dimmer so you could see its craters.

A lot better then my camera. If I take a picture of the moon on it, it looks like a spec. xD;;;

Have a good, long look through your camera's settings.
It turns out my camera (despite being on the fairly cheap end of the spectrum) has a low-light setting, where it takes a few successive snapshots and adds them together, making it look much brighter than it would otherwise.
Unfortunately, you'll also need either a steady hand or a tripod (or some other steady surface to rest the camera on) so you don't "split" the exposure!
Wow. I definitely did not know this. :-3 Thanks for sharing! :D
