: Film equipment assessment help
: Jimfoxyboy September 10, 2012, 01:00:26 -06:00
Is there still anyone out there, who even has a remote interest in film photography? This last weekend I had someone hand over two large boxes of equipment, which they have no use for. They also said it had come from Germany and was for black and white film. They were originally going to just throw it all out.

I wondered if anyone would be able to help me assess what was dropped off in the boxes. I have some knowledge about film but it only comes from what I did in high school.

Not really 16mm specific... though is a real and a holder for 35mm. The rest seems to be just a bunch of tubs, containers, film washing containers, drying rack, an enlarger and stand, a couple of timers, a light, enlarging gauge...ect.

No chemicals. The enlarger has a wide range of built in filters that can slide in and out. I think it runs on 220volts, but there is a little step-up voltage converter for it.
