I'd have to pick the horse.
Its fairly reliable...it can survive eating grass, and if you are adept at reading them they can signal an attack...to go even further it's possible for a horse to defend you.
The only down side i can see would be if one of you got injured but i can see that being a problem as well if you were riding a motorcycle.

Horse because when zombies would take over, how would we get gas to keep fueling the bike? Plus you're looking at oil, break downs, and so on. I know I own a bike. ^_^ And you can breed horses so you have a supply of them!

*totally agree's* and gas is a non issue, no-ones using it anymore, so all you need is a pump (hand) at gas station's main tanks

As i understand it has no such effects on animals...just death. Which would be quite fatal for you but I'm willing to take my chances with that. Horses can still cover more ground and out maneuver a bike.

Well, you can't eat a motorbike when it breaks down and becomes useless, so...

Definitely the horse.

The horse is an alternative food source if it comes to that.
The horse can be taught to signal danger.
The horse is a companion, so if you don't meet another person for days at least you have your horse to talk to.

You know it's funny, on my way home today I ran into someone on horseback...just clomping down the road past Walmart.  Great way to save on gas, I guess!

I wonder if it's legal in Burnaby though.

I gotta say, zombie horse=not cool.

I think I'd have to motorbike it as far as I could then, well I'd say 'Hoof It' but thats just what I was trying to avoid.
I'm not going to count on a vehicle that doesn't protect me from all sides period.
A horse will spook and likely throw me off in to the zombies.
A motorbike I can at least control, so I say motorbike

And if my horse gets infected? Fuck it, I'll hot wire a car and make my way to a large hotel. Just cover up the doors and windows for the first couple floors and kill everything inside. There. I'm safe =]

A motherfucking thick  steel plate Armored semi with  chain guns on top,  shatterproof class, Steel Bars on the outside and  around the Windows. Lots of Food, Water. Security cameras all over the Semi. Swords snd knifes welded to the side of the semi, Snow-Plow thing attached to the front.

AND a built in Bathroom!, hey  everyone's gotta go :P

And the waste left in the septic tank shal be used as ammo. :P

Personally, I don't think I'd be in much danger...  the zombies waddling around muttering BRRRAAAAIIINNNNSSS would come across me, and push me aside...

Cause while it is true that a horse would be able to feed itself, there are still chances that many unfortunate things could happen to it. Get hurt, sick, maybe even bitten. Zombie horse!~

And while a motorcycle can break down and run out of fuel, with all the people zombies, then you can simply get another one from a store, and its not like gas would be hard to find. S' not like a zombie would need it.

It also depends on the type f zombie... are they the slow or fast ones? Cause you can easily get away from a slow one, unlike the stupid people in the movies...

Horses don't have to be taught to signal Danger, they already do that, WE have to be taught to understand the signals they give. it's in their body language and faces, you just have to learn how to read them.

pretty much all the reasons I choose a horse has been said, plus they give companion ship, which you'll need if all your friends and family have been infected and zombified.

I have to go with the Motorbike, my bike wont run away, my bike can go faster then 20km/hr, If I need to I can steal gas from any gas station, it can take a beating, It wont ever get tired (though it will need gas) I dont need to buy it shoes (the amount that you would ride that horse, it would need new shoes in a month... where are you going to find a farrier? )

The only good thing I can see with the horse is that it -could- be food for a while

horses are dependable companions, but spook far too easily in the presense of the undead. You may wake up one night to find yourself surrounded by zombies, your ride long gone into the wilds.

Motorcycles, while requiring maintenence, are maneuverable through spaces too small for cars, fast, and while not quiet, can provide great utility.
One of the better choices is simply your average pedal bike, it's silent, and your passing won't alert any zombie hordes (unless of course they see you, but you're still on a pedal bike)
You are your own engine, in that case, so it's not a problem.

if its a mare you can hide in the wilderness and drink her milk and her blood like mongolian soldiers would while on the moove. A horse would alert you to intruders, and youd never need to go into town to refuel it. eventually the zombie plague shuld subside as the supply of fresh brains runs dry

I say Motorbike and my Reversed Blade Katana, why? Because it would be totally badass!
