As the title states I'm nervous and excited all at the same time. This is my first time making a fursuit sorta, but I'm at the point where I can go in and start making the head and I have NEVER done this before! So I'm all nervous that I'll screw up and what not. I don't even know where to start! LOL I've seen so many great ideas out there for getting started.
Anyone have advice for the first timer?

I would start there. When I made my first fursuit head I kinda just did it. I dove in head first!!
(you can see my results weren't half bad, I looked up many tutorials first tho. -> http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2650105/ (http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2650105/) )
Ha ha, thanks kitten. I actually already have these in my links, and WOW that head is ADORABLE! Anyhoo, I think what I meant to say is, from peoples personal experiences, I guess, if they have any advice. XD
I'm no fursuiter myself, but...
Perhaps I could help by adding to your list of references.

Good luck and have fun.

My advice is, read as many tutorials as you can, then dive right in! Don't worry about how bad you think it is. Just go for it! Don't use "memory foam" it feels really weird and can be difficult. Eyes will be tricky, don't be afraid to make more then one set! Scuply is great for teeth but not for noses. Use Crayola Model Magic for the nose(it's super light!) if you are not making a fabric/silicone/foam/latex nose. YOU WILL NEED LOTS OF HOT GLUE!!!!!! Don't use Super 77 or E600 to glue stuff to the head, it off gasses and is carcinogenic(aka cancer causing).
I hope that is helpful!!
