just curious.
who in the group has a bike.
every now and then its nice to know who you can call to join you on a bike ride.
I have a bike! A Rocky Mountain Fusion, not sure of the year, i LOVE it XD
I've got one of those!
Big n yellah, mountain bike. Would be down for some ridin yo :)
Even though I could never bike with any of you. I got my own. I lurv it. Sure beats paying $200+ a month to keep a car insured, gased and running. Best $199.15 I ever paid for transportation. Great to get around town when I feel like shopping. Haven't had a close call with a car yet this year. So doing awesome <333
I have a generic 18 speed mountain bike, though I need to fix the brakes on it... after I do that, I'm up for some riding. There's plenty of bike paths in my area too.
I don't mind bringing my bike to other parts of the lower mainland for the group activity either.
I have a Trek 820 and a BRC 10 speed road bike. I had the latter when I lived in north Van and put a lot of miles on it there. One of my favorite rides was following the paved path in the Seymour Demonstration Forest.
A Treck 4300 with aftermarket Fork, tires, and other extras I upgraded on it.
When I was a college lad that was my only transportation. Kinda sucked using it where I lived though. Now that I have a car I dont get it out much, but still do occasionally ^ ^. Looking forward to the move in August that will make it practical to bike to work everyday.
Still a serious cycling advocate.
I have an old mountain bike that's kind of the wrong size for me and probably quite rusty from sitting outside chained up by now... c.c;; The SkyTrain is so close I don't even bother. :x
If I had a better place for one I might be tempted to get a new one, but eh.
Using something old at the moment (as previous one had half a brake working and lost a tire going over train tracks) that really doesn't like speedbumps, been meaning to get a new one actually sometime, just need to budget first.
Reminds me of a bike I once had... the forks were bent sideways, so it would always want to veer to the left... until you went to use the brakes, where it would veer to the right.
Good times. :P
I have a road bike or hybrid what ever you want to call it, I use to use it allot before I got a car, I use to bike everywhere in Richmond. Though now it is just collecting dust.
I have a mountain bike but it got destroyed during last winter when my deck roof collapsed cause of so much snow and ice. I miss riding it. I am hoping to get a new bike soon tho. =)
Used to have one... Then a mustang replaced it.
Horses need to be fed, even when you're not riding them.
Boooo. :P

Lol I have a Rockey Fusion too! 2004 model! I loves it :D
I has one, but someone told me it can lead to ED, kinda looking at it as un appealing now *giggles*
ED?
Ask Marfles, he told me about it, ends with dysfunction.
Erectile dysfunction?
That's bull.
*Chortles* NY Times did an article on it, call what you want bull but still makes me hesitant, wonder if the type of seat makes a difference, I used to have one of those gel seats when I was off in Halifax.
I've ridden a bike most of my life, and there were no special seats to speak of, just the solid plastic, quarter inch foam padded, and nylon covered seat that came with the bike, and to this day, I have troubles keeping it down, the hormonal bastard I am.
But, to answer your question, one of those seats with the groove down the middle, to prevent putting pressure on the part of the penis that's behind the scrotum, would do the trick.
Might need to look into it, I have the day off, why not ^.^ and that's umm.. nice for you I guess.
if your're worried about that, look up ergonomic bikes, they have car like seats. might be better for your ass ^_^
That's awesome, I could have an ergo engineer to perform the measurements on my back side for a bike seat, teehee!
Or if you're so inclined, you can take the seat right off and ride on the peg.
:o
Ride the peg! Ride the peg! LOL

Hey man, you brought it up.
I has a bike. Altho I'm in Victoria.
;D
For some reason, the moment I say the forums name, I pictures fursuiters on bicycles~
A funny sight... I would get my poor tail caught probably...
suffering from limp tail? :P
I have 2 DH bikes if anyone wants to hit up whistler or something...
2002 Giant DH Comp (RIP) cracked the frame last season
and a 2009 Specialized Big Hit 1
I've got a 2004 (I think) Norco Bigfoot that I love. The hard tail is way better than the soft tail I had before for my style of riding... though before it was a Norco Screamer x3. My bike is up in PG still though, and it wont fit in my parent's Audi so they can't bring it down till they come down in the truck, which doesn't have A/C so it wont be till the fall. D: Sorry for the life story. :P
I pretty much stopped biking once I got my car though. After that I didn't see the point of going out and not being in my car. :P
1000 dollar Specialized Hardrock Comp with a nifty black and dark red flame paint job (with chips from commonly occuring nearby yardwork)
got it on sale for about 700-800, so that was cool.
I need new brakes on the thing, as mine screech like banshees. And new deraliers... and I gotta tighten my brake cables a little. And replace one of my tires.
But it gets me to work and back every day, and sometimes around to other nifty places too.
$2400 DaVinci DH. Hydraulic discs and full Shimano gearing. Needed something to keep up with my fast paced lifestyle.
