:)I have not been on any forums or boards for quite some time, but I thought I would finally say hello.
I am currently living in Kelowna, and a year or two ago I had the chance to hang out with some local furs. Since then I had been working all over the place and at one point was working outside of the country, so I was not really able to keep track of everything that was going on. It is good to see that there is quite you furs in BC.
I guess I could tell a little bit about myself. I lived in Calgary most of my life and then I got to live in Nanaimo BC for a year, after that I moved to Kelowna where I was taking University courses. After that I got the opportunity to do some work abroad. Not too long ago my contract finished and so I get to relax in Kelowna for a good while. I am not too new to the community but I am certainly new on here. :)
I am sure you'll find me looking around the boards and occasionally saying hello and seeing what everyone is up to. I will have to try and catch up with everything that's going on in the area.
It is a pleasure to get to meet everyone and I hope to jibber jabber with everyone soon enough.

Hey there Weremagnus!! It is a pleasure to meet someone else from Kelowna. It seems that there is a lot of people here from Calgary which is normal I guess. I used to know quite a few of the community members from the area but I'm not sure who is all around now. It will be interesting to see if I recognize some people from a while ago.
Hey there Gizmo. Fortunately i will be sticking around unfortunately where i was working there was no internet... I know scary right. Haha... A long time ago I got to participate In a camping event, it was quite a bit of fun. Thanks for the information about the calendar I will definitely check it out and see what's happening.
Occasionally I even drop by Vancouver now and then so perhaps I will see some people there Some time.

I'm not very active on the forums right now thanks to school and work, but I'm around sometimes. I'll (hopefully) be organizing a meet-up either for later this month or sometime in May since we seem to have gained a few new members recently. Well, that and we haven't had a proper get together in ages, haha.

I know exactly what you mean, life always has a way of tying you up and keeping you busy. A pleasure to meet you, and no worries us Canadians are transient things, we tend to move all over the place, so long as it is within the border. Well you will have to make sure that you visit Kelowna, I guess it depends on the truck routes.. if it is set.. or if it is north to south, more so than east to west. =)

Hello and welcome to the BC furries, glad to hear that there are furs living in Kelowna, looks to be a major spot in BC's mountainous area.
Gizmo's suggestion for Campfur is well thought, it should take you 2-3 hours to get there from K-town.
