my most favourite one is cowboy bebop anime and manga both, and something else that i really like is 'hiraku no go', very well handled story around the game called 'go'

I am not really a fan of anime, as I'm more of a fan of tokusatsu which is, well, not to a great extent either. Having said that, Initial D comes to my mind in terms of my favourite anime of sorts.

Looking at what has already been said, seems like cowboy bebop is a crowd fav!! I like that one as well!!

Mushishi is also quite the series!! That one was well done!! Thumbs up from me!

I agree with the professor! I really like the Studio Ghibili/Miyazaki movies!!

As for Initial D I was never a fan of the anime but the live action movie ROCKED!!! I recommend it if you haven't seen it and enjoy the anime!

Now the others I enjoyed from years past are: Gundam Wing, Old School Digimon, Gunsmith Cats, Slayers and Blue seed, there are some others but I can't remember right now...

My current favs are Digimon Cross Wars, Pokemon Best Wishes, Deadman Wonderland and Pumpkin Scissors

I also enjoyed anime like Dragon Drive, Akira(tho the manga is far better), Ghost in the Shell, Gilgamesh, Samurai Pizza Cats, and more!

Heheh, the live action Jay Chou rendition got me hooked onto Initial D. xP

I don't like most anime, but I do absolutely love Samurai Champloo to pieces.

Heh, I completely forgot about Digimon Tamers. That was one of my early furry influences.

Cencoroll, short film, also pretty good. Sort of like a dark take on Pokemon.

I suppose i could say that Ouron Host Club is not really a favorite, but I do enjoy it.

And for the record, InitialD has peaked my interest in the EA86.

Bah, how could i forget Dragon Drive, and Digimon (Tamers to be specific) and DragonBooster, don't know if that one can be called an anime. And AKIRA
