Hey all, was wondering if anyone had an OBD2 scanner I could borrow? My roomates car is on the fritz and I'm seeing what I can do to help it.
While I'm at it I should probably ask if anyone also has a torque wrench.
What is his car doing (or not doing) exactly?
There is a vibration and a slight knocking/tapping while running. The idle is rough and gets worse once the car has has warmed up and near stalls at idle. There was a huge amount of knocking before, but I regapped a plug that had moved well beyond the tolerances and that seemed to have solved that, though not entirely. I am wondering if another cylinder is misfiring or if I've not tightened the plugs properly.
I had the car read by an obd2 scanner and the guy who read it said the code was a misfire on 4. I've been just checking the easy things to replace since the roomate does not want to drop much money in to fixing it.

I have one.
Once I get some free time again, might I be able to borrow it or attempt to limp the car over to your area to use it?
