Well I'm sure it's not as easy as that, simple answer is.. get out more. The issue is I can't seem, or don't seem to really know anyone or know just stuff to do with people aside from say the once in a couple of weeks meet up. It could just be how school or growing up was but you'd end up hanging out with friends like almost on a nightly basis or more. I'm all grown up now, but nights are still mostly open.
It's usually cheaper to stay in, and getting out requires some sort of event, or purpose sadly. I really find myself hungering, and not sure if it's normal if people just dont get out often. Maybe a friday night drinking with coworkers, or once a month meet up with local furs.
Start setting up coffee dates with old friends or co-workers that you have things in common with.
Two or three dollers for coffee can easily translate to a couple hours of great conversation, or fond reminiscing with old friends.
I totally know what you mean...work, home, work, home, bleh...shopping on weekends if absolutely necessary :P
Shiiiit mang, I come out to the Vancouver area all the time, and one of my oldest friends lives in NewWest, who I go visit regularly. Send me a text, bud, and I'll try to buzz ya when I head out there next and see if we can't head to a pub or something. =) 604 316 7932 Just lemme know who you are.
