I was up the other night looking through the forums to see if there was a poll showing how many of what is around, couldn't find one so I made one to see some numbers!
I tried to keep the selection some what general so if I missed something give me a poke and I'll see if I can add it to the list. If there is a poll up such as this shoot me a link, thank you!
Let the votes begin! ;D
You forgot Monster... So I voted mammal, :P
I'm just fur-curious
I voted Exotic since i'm a Canine/Feline/Dragon
Feline, I'd say ... :3
Pretty sure Dragon lol. actually I was surprised I was the 3rd vote for that one hahah. I was ready to be the first one and attach a big "forever alone" face to this post XD
NOPE DRAKE
And you're not the only red dragon either!
Raise one for the canines! Woof woof!
Well some of us have to be foxes. :P
Canine pride!

Monsters would be exotic I would think?
im luka the adorable husky the collar is just like mine =P
go go felines :-3
Aha! And the dogs are running away with the show again! ;D
Eh, didn't notice Exotic, so I went with Mammal, as I'm a fox/pine marten cross.
I'm surprised we have 1 horse and 0 cows. Usually where I've been that ratio is equal. :o
How about us marsupials ;D
picked Mammal: other, but its a pretty big one compared to several other options on there hehe.
Kyroo
Rabbits are lagomorphs; I would probably have voted that if it were an option, though I suppose it fits under 'other mammal' fairly well. I didn't vote, because I'm a shapeshifting indecisive demonoid.
Other common ones are ursids (bears) and those darn otters. (lutrids) ;)
Technically, foxes are vulpines and not canines! Common misconception. :)
Cheers;

Felines will win i say go go felines *waves a flag*

Well, since you wanted to get technical, foxes are
canids (family Canidae) and also
canines (subfamily Caninae; the others (extinct) were Borophaginae (borophagines) and Hesperocyoninae (hesperocyonines)). And while it's true that one could also refer to
Vulpes (red foxes, swift foxes, etc.) and
Urocyon (gray foxes) as
vulpines (tribe Vulpini), the genera
Cerdocyon (crab-eating foxes) and
Lycalopex (pampas foxes, Darwin's foxes, etc.) would again more properly be called
canines (tribe Canini). "Canid" is the term most often seen in scientific literature.
You got me there. That's something I wasn't brushed up on.
And I took biology for years, too! :)

Canine right here.
i clicked mammal, for no rabbit/hare button.
umm how do i open the voting again? it seems to have been locked.
Almost as many felines as there are canines? What in the world where are they all hiding.
The ratio of felines and canines in the fandom is...

Too damn high!
XD
I apologize to all the lizard owners out there in advance but...
Given that many furries own cats and dogs as pets in real life, I wouldn't be surprised.
We live in an area where people smoke a lot of weed... thus, people here are pretty chill... and it doesn't get much more chill than a cat, guys. Seriously. Mystery solved.
