Specifically Im looking for a body suit to match my recent head from Rarakie(Furgenstudios). Just to get an idea of who could make a body suit.
There's actually quite a few local fursuit makers in the lower mainland. :3
Just a few off the top of my head: (I apologize ahead of time if I forget anyone; if I do and you know any that I haven't listed, feel free to add them to the thread)
Temrin
Sepiaa
Apoxon
D Man Mike
Kitten
Star Wonder
Scribble (I think... can't remember... lol x3)
Murphy Erasmus
Brittany Shadowwolf
That seems to be all I can list at the moment. Hope this helps! :D

Hunny has that list mostly right, the only person I can think of that she forgot is The Palomino(He lives in whistler)
Apoxon currently with school might not have time for a body suit commission
Yes Scribble Fox is local(Him and his husband Havoas may be coming to future events, and they will be at VancouFur)
Out of Hunny's list, the ones that I'd think would be able to make a body suit to match would be, Sepiaa(but she is booked until august), Scribble Fox(but I don't think he does body suit only commissions, plus he is super busy), The Palomino and Apoxon(but as I said she is super busy with school currently)
I'd offer myself but I have not completed a body suit yet and would not like to experiment on a commission.....
You can find most everyones work on their FA's under the user names they use here
Thanks guys :)
tekani can also be put on that list as well, she is working on a fursuit for me.
*holds up a hand*
Though I might be a bit slow with the convention drawing near. After which I'll hopefully be able to put more focus on things suit related.
you should talk to Tekani she's going to be making my suit for me, here's a link to her profile http://www.bcfurries.com/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=1279 (http://www.bcfurries.com/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=1279)
my friend makes kick arse fursuits but she isnt on bcfurries pm me for pics/info
Hate to bump this up, but methinks this list should be updated. The list has dwindled to few and far inbetween since this was made a couple of years ago.
Making your own body suit to dimensions you prefer, won't take that long to figure out (Unless if you want padding or digistuff).
For me. I wore a pair of pants that I really liked the fit, and style of (they were dress pants from Value Village, cheap stuff).I then put on a fairly close fit t-shirt that felt really nice to wear (probably from VV again, not sure).
I then marked about 6 points (just a tick/small sribble) around the waist of where the shirt ended, onto the pants (try to stand up straight and comfortable when you do this [mark, relax, look, see if you got it right then continue). I then felt, through the shirt, to where the pants came up to, and marked the top of that about 6 times around the waist onto the shirt.
From that, you can get a design that you know will already fit to your preference.
Take off the clothes, connect the marks (with a ruler), per apparel.
You should now have a perfect template to be able to draw and design your own markings and fur patterns onto.
You're able to draw what ever you like onto the clothing. Just have those marked lines match up when you're planning your design. Since after you have it all drawn out. You cut out.
Cut your clothing along the seams that are already there (take a moment to decide the transition between the pants and shirt, if you lay it out on the fur fabric you can set up and get a position that's probably exactly the same or perhaps somewhere in between the two measurements of the clothings' width [that's why you should have a nice, close fitting t-shirt])
Cut along the factory seams of the clothing. The cut pieces are now perfect templates to be laid out onto the fur fabric.
You can draw any design on the clothing and cut those out as well, and it will match perfectly with the rest of the clothing template.
ps. When you draw out your patterns onto the fabric, draw a second perimeter around the design to give yourself some sewing room (really depends on your method of sewing though)
pps. If you do the markings around the waist in permanent marker, they will stay on there (faintly) after the clothing has been put in the washer.
If you do your fur patterns and designs in Crayola Markers (regular crayola will usually wash out, but there are washable ones [London Drugs]) You can be free to experiment and draw out the fur patterns, then wear it, to see what it looks like without having to sew anything else together. If you don't like, throw it in the washer, it'll come out clean (resharpen those waist measurements if they faded a bunch) and now you're able to try out a whole new pattern design, and be able wear it, to see a preview of how it may look before it's transitioned into Fur.
ppps. DON'T cut off the bottom of the shirt or the top of the pants until you've got all your patterns planned out.
*this may need editing, I gotta head out*
Not only is the list out of date, all current makers locally who are still in business are CLOSED for commissions. You may want to look out of town for commissions or face a queue.
Im good at sculpting foam heads if that helps. And I can make good teeth sets but they take a long time to make

Or talk to me or Laylel at our DD table at Vancoufur.
We'll be taking commissions for after VF. (though technically speaking, we're Vancouver Island, not mainland)

I'll also state the clear fact that repairs if you don't know how to do them yourself are not easy to get from professionals, in fact, neigh impossible.
If you encounter unforseen circumstances, you're basically down to luck, or if you have enough confidence, trying to repair it yourself.
Suit commissions: Easy.
Suit repairs: Near impossible to get professionals to do.
Deborah showrightfashions@gmail.com has no issue doing any and all fursuit repairs. Murr Suits Clean Suits she doesnt care and is currently located in Surrey.
Not sure if that'll be in time for VF though. This is very short notice. Repairs have to be completed before VF.
Not sure how much they'll charge neither.
$160 for 7 hours. That's how much my repairs cost. And there was one mistake cause I never specified that in the beginning.
$120 for the follow up repair, which looks decent now.
Is there anyone really high quality cuz I have my base just need to fur it do jaw eyes an ears an it's done but I'm super picky an would rip the fur off if it is not to my expectations I know I sound like a arse but it's true an don't want to offend someone if I DoD such a thing
