I'll start. This is my Banded California Kingsnake. He's named after my favourite fursuiter, Buddy.

Oooh I love snakes. Always wanted a reptile for a pet (never could living with my parents, my mom was terrified)
But I do have a doggy, a pembroke welsh corgi named Kanye West!

I have a cat! I adopted him (almost) a year ago from the SPCA. He is completely black with a notch in his right ear and a little bald spot behind that same ear. His name when I got him was 'Petey' but that was stupid, so I called him 'Kevin' and he immediately took to it. He is the best cat in the world. We chose each other at the shelter. All the other cats didn't really care for me and I went to him last ('cause he was sleeping). He woke up and seemed really interested in me and even put his front paws up on my chest with no prompting from me (he was on one of those cat tree things so was at the right level). I was like "That is the one!" and went right to the front desk to tell them which cat I wanted.
Took him home and he loved this place right away. Especially sleeping upside down on my bed. He follows me everywhere... even to the bus stop one time. He is very street smart too and makes sure there are no cars around if he wants to cross the street, which is great, because I live on the corner lot which faces two busy streets.
His paperwork states that he was an 'owner surrender' and I often wonder why they surrendered him. He is an amazing cat and I would never give him up. His 5th birthday is in March! :) Here are some pictures...

Your pets are awesome :D I wanted a chameleon so badly a little while ago x3 It was that or an iguana, but they get too big too fast.
I've got some fish and a couple giant turtles to post too when I get some pictures of them :P

I has mine cat named Rome (my mother calls him romeo) and he's about 12 years old, but according to a recent trip to a groomer, looks as healthy as a 6 year old kitty.
He's a norwegian forest cat, and is long. Longcat is long! I hold a treat @ hip level (according to my tape measure, 33 inches) and he can stand up, wrap his front paws around my hand and gnaw the treat out of my fist. And he's so fluffy! He follows me around, sprawls out on the floor at random places, and sleeps face first against our picture window.

Since my apartments allow pets (I have to pay a $377 pet deposit) maybe I will get a pair of rats again. The breeder I like just had a litter. I will have to ask Broken what he thinks.

I'm so envious of you guys. I've thought about owning a pet dog or cat, but then I realized that I wouldn't have enough time to take care of 'em while managing school and work. And I'm not the sort of person who would want to be away from the presence of a companion while at home. :-\
My cat Bandit is awesome but evil at times. He is a black kitty. about 2 years old i think >.< I got him on craigs list. I made a ad for what I wanted in a cat. So I feel he is a gift from the universe. He is everything I have always wanted. Super affectionate. Already fixed and has his shots, he even had a chip in his head for if he gets lost. Now.. I havn't been able to update it so if he ever does the old owner will be contacted. But meh.
He is my baby. I loves him dearly. He sits on my lap throughout the day and talks to me. His voice is soooo tiny. Weird for such a BIG boy cat. it's sooo cute.
He has been having a interesting time getting used to the new hardwood laminate floors at our new place. Makes me laugh. He slides into walls cuz of em.
My best friend got a kitten a month ago and we have introduced them twice... Bandit doesn't seem to like him but the kitten doesn't care. It was funny.
Here's a couple pictures of my pets back home, rather cute if I may say! The first is a small-bred Yorkshire Terrier at about a year old named Penny, and the second is an 11 year old Maltese Poodle named Pickles. Like with many small dogs, they haven't been without their share of problems- Penny's quite young but has already gone under for two hip surgeries, though as you can tell in the picture, she seems to have recovered pretty well. Pickles is still a pretty happy dog at a hearty 11 years, but has had surgeries for mutant toenails, intestinal issues, tear ducts, the works. Hope you like 'em both :)
