: Selling my Microsoft Racing wheel
: Choco November 14, 2011, 01:15:49 -07:00
asking price - $100

This is the original Microsoft Racing wheel that Microsoft choose to discontinue and replace with their "horse shoe" I am wanting to use the money to be able to get Skyrim (Xbox 360) so if you had a copy I would offer a trade for it

My wheel is still in excellent perfect working condition with nothing wrong with it here is a picture from google of what your buying (I don't have a good camra)

all the original components are all still there and are as follows...

Racing wheel
pedals
mount for a table
powercable
cable for the pedals

I figured I should make a thread here and see if any of you would be interested in this if so please let me know

Good luck selling it at that price.  Unopened boxes are currently being sold at $40.

Go to real stores.  The Gamestop at Surrey Central sold me their last one for 40, and the plastic was still on the box.

Guys, can we please not turn this into an argument/drama? :-\

I went on Craigslist and found this: http://vancouver.en.craigslist.ca/van/vgm/2646190291.html (http://vancouver.en.craigslist.ca/van/vgm/2646190291.html)

An ad for the same controller, and the person is asking double of what Choco is asking for. (which now that I think about it, is probably the ad he mentioned in his second post)

Here's another ad: http://vancouver.en.craigslist.ca/van/vgm/2674455481.html (http://vancouver.en.craigslist.ca/van/vgm/2674455481.html) selling the same controller, only for less, but still more than what Choco is offering, and comes with Project Gotham Racing 3, though I seriously doubt the game is worth 50$, at most it'd sell for 5-10$ at most, meaning the wheel itself is still being sold for 140$.

And yes, they can be sold at Gamestops and EB Games for cheaper, and they may be in a box, but nothing's been said about whether it's new or used, which in some cases, it'll probably be used, and yes still be in it's box. Also, if you think about it, EB Games and Gamestops will not sell it for that much, but they won't sell it for much less either, so 40$ is pretty much their ideal price for something like this.

This post probably won't do anything towards your opinions or what you guys have to say about the subject, but I'm just throwing in my own 0.02 cents here and hopefully it'll put a possible end to what might become an argument of unneeded disagreement being passed back and forth from one to another. :-\
(Sorry for butting in, I just didn't like where this was going >________< also not sure if I made sense, if not, sorry, I'm just a little tired. x3)

1-10 how is the condition?

Are you willing to ship it off to Houston Texas?

If so how much more would it cost to have it shipped safely?

How long are you willing to hold onto the item?

Because I got a friend that is really wanting one of these. And is wanting me to see if you can hold onto it for a couple weeks till he gets paid and can use paypal after to send the funds.

if 10 being the highest I'd say 9 I didn't use it as much as I thought I would be everything still works the same as when I got it

I would have to look into shipping costs but I wouldn't mind as long as the price is reasonable but I would prefer to sell it locally if at all possible

I am willing to hold onto it for afew weeks but as I posted I would prefer a local sale if possible

If shipping costs were added onto top of the $100. Would you be chill with it?

I would be fine with that

Alrighty then if you can is it possible to get a few pics of it before hand? Also do you have/can you ship it off in the original box? And if its possible to get a price estimate for shipping it would be much appreciated.

sure I can share some photos that I'll upload here probably tommarrow but unfortunately I didn't keep the original box

I'll try and get you a shipping estimate as well
