I'm creating this thread for everyone to give props, kudos, thumbs up, pat on the back... what have you... to MEMBERS and AFFILIATES OF THIS FORUM for notable achievements they have earned or for doing something that would earn them recognition and respect. This is sorta the award thread for members of our local community.
Anyone can use this thread to recognize any other BCF member at any time, just please make it for a legitimate reason (No: "Thumbs up for _______ because he/she is just awesome!")
You may reply to a props with thanks (if you are the person being recognized) or you may reply with extra props to that person if someone has already beat you to it. Also try to limit to one kudos at a time; do not flood the thread with multiple props. Let others have their chance to recognize a person and his/her achievements. Please try to keep it as ON TOPIC as possible. =)
So I'm gonna start 'er off by giving props to GIZMO.
That guy seriously is an amazing person for all the effort he puts into this community. He hosts monthly events at his own place and on his own time where people come over and have a great evening. He volunteered for Howloween and is also volunteering for Vancoufur 2012. The guy never stops, and he's an extremely nice person who I feel very privileged to have as a friend.
Thumbs up, Giz. Keep on being a champ, eh! <3

Props to Torwin for running the Doghouse for so long!
Props to APHINITY for always running Howl every year, an awesome mini 2-day convention here in Vancouver! And soon to have another one: Vancoufur! & Props to TAI for always running the awesome monthly bowling meets!!
Props to UNITION, TAI and RAINRAT for running this forum for us! Without you guys the community wouldn't be the same! There might not even be a community! :o
Bonus thanks to RAINRAT for loaning his spare fursuits out to wannabe novice suiters.

I'm going to second the props to Aphinity, Tai, and EVERYONE who was involved with Howloween, making it the most kickass furry soirée I've ever been to. =)
Props to Lusiphur, Ember, Coal, and Hunny (and anyone else that I may have forgotten) for realizing a dire situation and helping me get someone back on their feet on Saturday night. You guys are some pretty solid people and it's nice to know we have some good, responsible individuals in our group to look out for our friends in need.

God knows what trouble I would have gotten into without you guys. My apologies to Lusiphur for forgetting about you in the other thread. My awareness wasn't operating at it's peak this weekend. >.<
Props to Fables, Zen, Pat the Fox, Fann, Tef, H u nn Y, and everyone else who welcomed me before and during Friday's bowling meet. You made my first furry outing an incredible one. I couldn't have asked for a nicer bunch of total strangers. :hug:
Im gonna give it to Aphinity! Cause one, he's just one awesome guy to be around. and 2. BALLOONS XD haha!
aphinity, kitten, gizmo, tai, rainrat, zen, vivian & ren and yes, all the others that i forgot to put on this list, for all the events and activities that allow me to show up and hang with all of you that also show up at same said event and activities.
Mad props again, to Gizmo, this time for organizing CampFur 2012, which turned out to be one of the most amazing camping adventures I've ever been on in my life (and yes, I've camped a LOT). He made sure everyone was fed and watered and that everyone felt accommodated and was having a good time!
Props to Wereman for holding the fort down and reserving our spot days beforehand!
Props to Nikki, Lusiphur and anyone else who cooked and helped with the cooking and cleaning for this event!
Props to everyone who helped wrangle our rogue tarp and keep the fire from being doused in that crazy rainstorm!
And please, anyone else who attended this event, give props to the people I'm missing because I know there was a whole lot more people who deserved them! :D <3
