Has anyone tried animation? I been trying the good old draw piece by piece then mash it all together WITH SCIENCE
So far I made these 2:

(http://fc04.deviantart.net/fs71/f/2011/275/4/4/jumpstyle_animation_by_amzinthos-d4blgp8.gif) Project, might finish later on >_>
The yawning has a lot more frames than the jumpstyle gif so it looks smoother. So yeah, anyone interested or having/wanting tips let the posting commence!
That is pretty darn cute.
I am 'trying' to animate. I got the blinking thing down. I use Jasc Animation Shop 3. The tool will split the gif frame by frame and editing can be done on the frames. Anything from duration period of a frame, or even editing the photo itself with brushes.
But good job on those.
These are the only completed ones up on the net right now but i have some other, larger projects in the works. (Full body animations. Multiple body animations, different icons. etc.)

-chuckles- How did i know you were gunna say something like that XD :P
Great gifs everyone! :D
Now...consider this as a stupid question from your fellow sled dog, but do you guys happen to know any freeware-based GIF software of sorts?
if you go to http://download.cnet.com/windows/ (http://download.cnet.com/windows/) and type in GIF of GIF Animation you'll come across some free ones and ones you can try for a trail period. Specific ones, i don't know.
I recommend Flash MX which is great for Gifs and SWFs, it has a groovy 'onionskin' feature which allows you to transparently view the previous frames... Just so many goddamn features in that program. Get it! 'Cause that's some pretty good art you got there so you need a good program to realize your full creative potential yo.
WOOFWOOFWOOFWOOFWOOF.
Bah, I own a Mac, sorry. xP
@Roffo Thanks ^^, I should started with blinking eyes aswell but nooo the yawning one was actually my first attempt to animate -_-; wtf
@Termin Very nice, the animation looks really smooth. Did you draw every frame for the eye blinking or was it some fancy program tool or something?
@Tef I use "Ulead GIF Animator 5" not sure where or how I got it... it was a long time ago to do animated sprays on tf2 i think lol
@wolfensongman That sounds neat, but I hear that flash is dying and they're gonna be replacing it with a new program in the near future so idk.. I guess for pictures it wouldn't make a difference eh?
Drew everyframe: inked, coloured and animated in photoshop :3
(Its been tweaked since that image, to make it a bit quicker since people don't normally blink that slow XD )

People blink slowly when they're being sexy
Edit: Regarding the speed, how do you control that? or did you just make less frames for the entire animation ? cause with Ulead you can change the speed in which it stays on the same frame. It's kind of nice but really hard to work with

I drew a LOT of frames XD I had to get rid of some as well, as yes, photoshop you can choose how fast it plays as well. Though with how many frames i drew for it, it was much easier to remove a few frames here and there as well as speed it up a tad :3
But yes, people do blink slowly when they are being sexy XD :P
Hmm..come to think of it, I "think" GIMP supports animation. I'll give it a check meself later. And yes, I tend to use the poor fur's edition of professional software. xP
