Hey Everyone I have been wondering how everyone feels about non furs coming to fur events.
Does it turn anyone off ?
Does it effect weather or not you attend certain events ?
Does it make you excited to show others how awesome furies really are ?
Tell me your thoughts !
Out of that list, I would go for the third choice. For example, I've been bringing my roomate/best friend to furmeets and such for a while and he's loved them. So much so that he even converted. After all, we were all "non-furs" at one point. Besides, the more the merrier. If they can enjoy our company then we certainly can enjoy their company as well. ^^ Our doors have always been open to anyone who want's to join in on our fun.
3rd one would be my answer, TIME TO CONVERT! x) i dunno, but thats how it seems every furmeet lol.
i keep seeing alot of new faces so thats what im thinking.
Ditto on the third answer, I think it's great for non furs to come out and see what we're really all about.
ya the third one is defifinatly the choice for bringing friends to fur meets
Defiantly the 3rd one, I brought one of my friends along once because he wanted to see everyone and what happens (He has the CSI view on furries). So it was beneficial to show him that it isn't 100% true what they show on T.V.
I brought my best friend (who is a non-fur) to a fur meet back in October - he seemed to enjoy himself but he hasn't expressed any interest in attending future ones.
It's not always for everyone.
It depends on the attitude they bring with them, to me. If they're interested or at least open-minded, cool. If not, I'd rather they weren't there.
I don't think of the fandom as an exclusive club by any means, and there are a lot of people on the periphery.
yay !!! this makes me happy. I was wondering about this because it was brought to my attention that some furs will avoid a meet simply because non furs are there.
But I'm so happy to see that most still are ok with it ! YAY ~dances~
