aaaand btw they couldnt do that, and dragonborn isnt a new race, its you, they couldnt change the total look of you being a dragon human because that would totaly trash the pourpose of having the race chousing, also making your character ALOT less diverce if style and look, they decided to go with having the dragon blood so you can choose your race, you can still be a argonian and for fuck sakes argonian are ALOT more dragon looking now its soooooooo sick and fuck

but they already stated in Oblivion that the Septums were the only humans with dragon blood
I pre-ordered and am ready to spend a lot of hours playing, however, I am also unsure if it will be as good as people are expecting it to be. Keep in mind they are creating a new engine... which may have glitches as bad, if not worse than the one they used for oblivion and fallout 3/NV. Don't get me wrong, great games... but we should all just be ready in case it does do a bunch of messing up... and may be seriously graphics intensive... which is not good for me and my 4 year old laptop... >.<

That's entirely the point; the "dragon blood" means being a descendant of Akatosh. It was actually revealed in Daggerfall (I think it was) that Tiber Septim had a few illegitimate children, and thus the bloodline of Akatosh is propagated across Tamriel. With there not being an emperor anymore, technically, any of the descendants has a claim to the Dragonblood.
I am quite glad that I do not have school on Fridays, because after I pay my minute of silence: Skyrim all weekend. I tried to NOT get swept up by the hype behind this game, but from what I've seen so far, there's a lot to be excited about. I am INCREDIBLY glad that they made the beast races look more, well, beast-like. Not to mention the improved AI engine (which Oblivion sorely needed. I swear to god, the NPC's in that game had the intelligence of slugs), dual-wielding weapons (which means my dreams of having a duelist for a character are finally fulfilled<3), no class restrictions, NO SCALED LEVELING!! But yeah, a lot seems to have changed for the better from Oblivion. I am genuinely excited for this game, and my only concern is if my laptop can handle it. If not, I will cry tears of blood.
Also, I can guarantee that within a month or two of the game being released there will be a.) a mod to make the models nude and b.) a mod that includes draconic races; among many, many other mods.

still, dragon-blooded humans arent dragonborn, dragonborn are 7-8" tall dragon looking warriors
Already have plans made out for Skyrim. I'm going to make my character a descendant of my Oblivion character. It was distictive enough that ay resemblace will be easy, as long as they didn't limit the color options for Skyrim more.

In a different universe, yes, I would agree with you. But this is TES :/

they cant take a preexisting race, that already has a defined look, and completely change it because its what they need it to be, use a different name than "Dragonborn"

So you're going to hold all judgement of the game because they're using Dragonborn in a different context? That's a pretty weak reason to dislike a game that, from the media they've produced, appears to be of a very high caliber and quality.
Also, if The Elder Scrolls games took place in the Dungeons and Dragons universe, I would agree with you entirely; however, this is not Dungeons and Dragons universe. The Elder Scrolls game take place in the creative conscious of an entirely unrelated company, with it's own languages and lore. And last I checked, the planet Nirn did not exist in any pre-existing Dungeons and Dragons realms. (Nirn is the planet that The Elder Scrolls takes place on). So, yes, Bethesda has the right to take the name Dragonborn and do whatever the hell they want to do with it in their universe. And if you're still sore about it when the game comes out, well, Bethesda makes their games really easy to mod.
Also, this is a quote taken from The Elder Scrolls wiki: A Dragonborn is someone who has been born with the soul of a dragon...In the Elder Scrolls universe, the term Dragonborn is used to refer to the "descendants" of Emperor Tiber Septim, founder of the Septim Dynasty of Tamriel. Most of past Dragonborn have been of the Imperial race; however, Dragonborn can be of any race, as the abilities and title are given by the Nine Divines to favored subjects.

So far I am only really looking forward to this game, and saints row the third this year. Not sure if I'm willing to invest the money on opening day though. But incredibly excited nonetheless. ;D

I can't wait to pick up my copy. I got a case of Mountain Dew ready for an all niter.
Caved like a sucker and "preordered" it yesterday for the fancy map. (Gonna mount the map on the wall over my monitor too!) Got it today, tonight's gonna be a LONG night XD
I have to say the game looks really nice. The storyline is a little rehashed from previous Elder Scroll games(prisoner becomes the savior), but despite that, I'm enjoying it. My only complaint is it looks like they got rid of the hot key function, which sucks because it was one of the things I liked about Oblivion.
I actually like the favorites menu over the hotkeys. Hotkeys were unwieldy and easy to forget for me, so this new setup is better.
And they always "rehash" that storyline, the classic Elder Scrolls start is as a prisoner:
- Daggerfall: Was on a prison ship, got shipwrecked, woke up in a cave.
- Morrowind: Brought to Morrowind, as a prisoner, and released, all under the Emperor's orders.
- Oblivion: Started as a prisoner in a cell, tagged along for the Emperor's secret escape.
- Skyrim: Start as a prisoner captured at the border.
I take back what I said. The favorite's menu isn't that bad now that I've gotten use to it.
Spoiler question:
Kahjiit and Argonian children, do they exist?

I found out, from reading the manual, there actually are hotkeys too. Not sure how you assign them, but they had 8. Personally, I still prefer the favorites menu, but they do exist.
Hopefully those who play the console versions can actually use all eight and not just four.

Spoiler question:
spoiler:
no - never saw em in oblivion either.
I beat the main quest and haven't seen any Argonian towns yet. I'm playing as Argonian and was wondering if they're able...(spoiler)...to turn into werewolves
I also have no idea were to get better spells other then Whiterun. I'm specifically looking for a frost bolt spell.

POTENTIAL SPOILERS AHEADSkyrim is the nord province, all the towns are Nord towns, every other race are outsiders. (This is the key to the main civil war plot: imperial outsiders versus the Stormcloaks that want only Nords in Skyrim) Thus, you will not find any towns other than Nord towns. You will find random people of every race scattered throughout the province, however.
DEFINITE SPOILERS AHEADIf you follow a certain quest line, then yes
that thing will happen, regardless of the player's race.
If you want spells, try the Mage's College. There's a quest to find it, talk to any mage anywhere and ask them where to learn more about magic. They tell you which city it is in, and it's a big obvious building, so really really easy to find.
