I'm not going, I just hate when people post event notifications with no info in them.
PTQ? What does that mean? Praise the Queer?
Although I'm aware you're feigning ignorance for the sake of a joke, (Either that or you failed to google it, the first response being the correct answer), PTQ stands for Pro Tour Qualifier. It is a tournament where the winner qualifies for a larger tournament (the pro tour).
Normally people who go to these things know well in advance and don't need the details : )
I'll be there with the pastimes crew :)
no clue who or what that is, but cool! =D What will you be playing? I'm probably going to be running a rogue combo deck =) no not that silly exarch
Mr.Fox and I will be there, as usual. I'm actually going to play for once o.O too many people I know said I should try playing. That and I've judged enough events lately and figure I'll let other people get a chance.
P.S. Ember just out of curiosity did you get that info from roguegaming?
Cool! I'm curious about what people will be playing! I know tons of it will be valakut caw-blade so im hoping my rogue built to end both of those works
I'll be playing caw blade minus the caw. It's a blue white stoneforge with no birds. Been testing lots with it and it seems strong
How did everyone do? I pulled out a 29th place
I ended up not making it, i went to calgary the following week instead and got like 26 or something, prizes at least but got my butt kicked by some crazy annoying birthing pod splinter twin exarch combo deck... Green blue red, had vengevines in it, 3 acidic slimes, and a bunch of other stuff his curve was gorgeous with that birthing pod, never stood a chance, he later went on to win(or so i heard anyhow, i left pretty early : P )
