So while on FA I stumbled across
http://furrymate.com/ (http://furrymate.com/)
It's another furry dating site.
I know some of the furs on here are looking for mates, and I thought "Why not post this here?"
Anyways enjoy? I'm not sure if it's up and running just yet.

"Coming soon"
LOL, just a few hours into opening the website and they already have to upgrade their servers just to be able to handle the overwhelming response they got from the community. xP

Before it went down, folks were discovering that they want $18 a month to subscribe. o.o
Wow.
If they will seriously charge for this website, not many will sign-up.
Or at least I'm just guessing not as many will sign-up. Who knows.
But It would definitely be way more awesome if it was free...
Pay for love?
Thats the system for you.
For the people above that blindly accept facts without bothering to check them...
The website does not require you to pay for a profile. Like many sites of its kind, it gives you a free profile and charges for an enhanced profile.

"Freemium" model's not uncommon. Still though, $18 a month for freemium on a dating site strikes me as being a tad out there (If that's what their premium costs); I pay about a third that for a stock images subscription on a professional photo-sourcing site.
In this model, they usually make all the good features in the "Plus" version and leave all the basic stuff on the free version.
No thanks. I need one that's 100% free and contains a rich feature set that people can actually effectively use.
In fact, base it off of the open source Diaspora project and you have an open-source created alternative site just waiting to be made.
Diaspora - http://joindiaspora.com/ (http://joindiaspora.com/)
God forbid people have the option to pay for something on the Internet.
God damn, it's almost like they're trying to run a business!
ACTUALLY, I just checked the Facebooks page of the site, and they said in order to communicate with people there you need to pay up. So technically you can have a free account, you just cant communicate with people on there which is kinda the point of the site XD
There are alternatives too - scritchme and whatever that other site is called (existed way back before either, very plain.)
^.=.^; i met my mates mostly on forums like this.. or through FA lol
Online dating seems to be the 'new' thing. Alot of people are doing it now a days. o:

Mostly because the average furry has below average social skills, and/or is too lazy to actually go meet people.

Oi! DX
Match.com was founded in 1994. Online dating is hardly "the new thing."
Personally I like my old fashion ways of meeting people in person. Iunno.
IT'S TOO NEW AND COLD FOR ME.

I would have to agree, it seems that dating online
has become mainstream, but then again I shouldn't
complain because my sister wouldn't be in North Carolina
if it wasn't for the Internet.

The internet is a wonderful thing, It can also bring people together.
You can make new friends. But sometimes, When you want to say something to anyone it just doesn't feel as special as saying it to them in person. Or asking someone out in person. XD haha.
But this is just me. :x I can't speak for everyone.
Also happy your sister is in North Carolina. c:
To tell you the truth I miss her, she and I were tighter
tighter than spandex, best friends siblings could have.
