Looking for a 3-4 bedroom unit of something (apartment or house) in the realm of 1200$. Is this a pipe dream or might someone know of a place (preferably burnaby...ish)?
Good luck - our run-down 4BR place way out in Surrey is $1350, and that's CHEAP. :P Sorry to burst your bubble, but if you need that much room at that budget, you're probably going to have to look in the Surrey/Langley or Maple Ridge areas at the very least. Metro Vancouver is super expensive, real-estate wise.
If you actually find one that cheap, beware of the crazy landlord it probably has. I'm paying $1,000 for a 2 bed apartment in Surrey, and for the amenities I have, I'm underpaying; Rent elsewhere in this building is typically $1100.
on a completely sharp left turn from the previous question I asked, what about 1br/studio type places? any good spots for that kind of gig?
