I'm newly immigrated, finally got some issues fixed with MSP, and now I'm faced with the daunting prospect of selecting a family doctor. I hit a few websites and my eyes just started to glaze over, and I realized I was out of my element when I started rationally considering printing out the list of names, closing my eyes, then chucking a dart.
I am COMPLETELY out of my league.
Any suggestions? Helpful hints? Recommendations?
Sure, go to a local clinic and ask for a list of doctors that are currently accepting patients that are in the area.
Here's the website that lists doctors accepting new patients in BC https://www.cpsbc.ca/node/263 (https://www.cpsbc.ca/node/263) :-3
That....is an overhwelmingly huge list that unfortunately doesn't tell me much about anything...I guess I'm just going to have to set aside a day and work my fingers raw on the phone...
I didn't have much of a choice when I was looking for a doctor in this town... as there was only one accepting new patients. He was a doctor who had just moved here from South Africa and lucky for me, he is a great guy.
Whereabouts is he?
