Anyone here attending SFU right now?
Fuck no. With my poor grades and low IQ I'll be lucky if Kwantlen takes me.
:monocle:
I should be attending SFU in the summer trimester if all goes well, Interactive Technologies.
All those snobby children packing onto the SFU bus in the morning are rude. D':

Cool - that's a Surrey Campus program, right? I took a class there last semester, had a fantastic professor!

Go to the Art Institute, they'll take anybody.
I know, that school is such a scam.

Hehehe, true... but AI aside surely I can't be the only person up on Burnaby Mountain each day?
Not anymore, but I was there from 1998 to 2005.

What happened?
Guess I'm the only one there, hehe. Lurkers!
So just wondering, as this thread is old, who is still going to sfu or planning on going this fall semester?
(just to point out. AI isnt bad if you know how to stand up for yourself and hound them if they do something wrong. They are pretty diligent about fixing money issues if you bring them up. They also -do- have good programs. You just have to be ready to work your ass off constantly. They warn you in open house about that.)

Sorry, I've already graduated.
Though I might be back (eventually) for a Master's degree, as one of the things I'd like to do is become a Computing Science instructor.
I just noticed this old thread. I'll be going to SFU in September this year for the 3rd year of my bachelors degree.
Yay finally someone exists at this school I'm going there for my first year. So stoked. I went up there today and it was so foggy I love it.
Dang, I missed another foggy day. =>.<=
I need to head up there again just to take pictures.
Ya visibility was about 10 metres. 20 metres if they had headlights XD
I'm planning to attend after high school! Can't wait! :D
I'm pretty stoked too, but I already fucked up my classes so in.'m going to have a fun year trying to fit in all my courses properly.
Wow, I never knew there were still furs attending the school since this thread was so old. I just finished my class this summer semester. *sniff sniff* Congrats on getting in ravewolf! You should take some classes in Surrey campus.
I might have to, but that would be a bitch to do at it is a mwf class that I am missing and I already have one of those so I would need time to get from one campus to another.
Yay! Good to hear that some other furs are going to be/are already going to SFU!
I'll be going to the Burnaby campus, although I wouldn't mind checking out the Surrey campus if there was a course offered there that I was interested in taking.
There were quite a few classes that I wanted to take in the fall (at either campus) that either weren't offered this semester or were already full. I had a fairly late registration date, though, so hopefully next semester I will get an earlier registration date and my first choices for classes won't already be full. It's hard to make a balanced class schedule when the selection of open classes is limited.

I meant to say finished my last class. Didn't realized that I was missing a word in there. Failll. *face paw*

It is a hassel to get from Burnaby to Surrey Central especially during the winter. But what I found was that a change in scenery did do me some good. MWF classes sucks. I would rather have 3 hours lecture once a week and just get it over with.

*High paws* Yeah! I wished I posted earlier then maybe we could have a SFU meet-up. Haha! Yeah, I hate it when you would have to wait an entire year just to enroll in that one stupid course. That's one of the reasons why it took me so long to finish - that and work.

Yeah, I suspect that my last 2 years may take longer then anticipated if each semester the courses I want/need to take aren't available. Hopefully that won't be the case, though.

There's always the option of enrolling in co-op or going for an exchange. *sigh* It's one of those things that I wished I had taken... :(
Bumping up this old thread again! Any furs going to be attending SFU this summer, starting in May? I would really like to make some furry friends while I'm there.
I was going to take a class during the summer, but thanks to the genius IT people I will not be taking summer classes.
Does it count if you work at SFU? :P
: Grey August 05, 2013, 10:22:37 -06:00Does it count if you work at SFU? :P
Well
I think so! =^.^=
(not sure if I count, though, being an alumni an' all...)
Lol, if working there counts I'd say being an alumni is equally as valid.
If there are some other SFU furs kicking around is anyone intested in a meet up?
I had the summer off, but I'll be back in September.
I've been at SFU since forever, haha. I'm currently a grad student. I'm not on campus much but I wouldn't mind saying "hi" before I'm done with the school.
