I've obtained bcfurries.ca in addition to bcfurries.com - either will work in links, but as you navigate through the board, would you like the address to be bcfurries.ca or bcfurries.com?
I prefer .com by a very slight margin, but it's not a big deal to me either way.
".ca" seems more Canadian :P
Agreed that .ca is more canadian, like Furry.ca or albertafurries.ca but i think since we are using .com already, why change?
