As some of you know I do some djing as a hobby but what some of you might not know is I have several different writing projects on the side as well. One of them is a story called Auravision which is an epic story I wrote back in 1999-2000. It spawned two sequels between the years 2000-2002 and a fourth is currently a Work In Progress. The first three stories exist only on paper. You might have seen me at some meets and jams writing in my books, well fear not it's just me setting the foundation for the next Star Wars or Lord of The Rings! :p
Plot Summary (I'll try not to do this Chester A Bum style)
The Auravision books feature the adventures of Foxglove, a rouge fox who is disliked by his neighbors who live in a conservative farming community. Fed up and bored with his life, Foxglove find himself accosted but a runway princess who is a psychic, armed with a magic glowstick, Foxglove embarks on a coming out of the closet journey to save the lovely Princess Camisra and the land of Rhodia from an evil noble and the encroaching darkness.
The story sounds pretty cliche, in fact nothing about it is really original except the glowstick. But I like to think it has a certain timeless quality to it that might appeal to both fans of the High Fantasy genre and the cartoon fairy tale genre. Cliches and familiar story elements aside, the story is really about Foxglove and his own personal journey. He goes from being a daydreaming loser with no hope and no future, living an isolated lifestyle living in a town where everybody despises him to being a bold hero. Also he deals with coming out of the closet and dealing with the fact he is riteous and pure but also a sexual pervert. Foxglove is also granted metaphysical power to fight evil which he soon finds corrupts his once peace loving ideals.

You could say "Auravision" is my magnum opus which I hope to get published once the first book is done. This story is causing me to be anti-social and the state of my room sure suffers because of it. Good thing I don't have a girlfriend :p
