This smartphone app translates stuff in real time on your screen as you look at it in the real world!
I'm absolutely blown away at what this will do for things like travelling to other countries.

I remember seeing this on tv. It looks very interesting, providing it actually works.  :P

I can remember the same excitement when gps first came out. Then people started getting lost when it was discovered how dated the maps were that the gps people were using in their software.
I can remember on the first one we bought, it said our house was in the middle of the semiahmoo indian reserve and 20th avenue didn't exist.

I've downloaded this and tried it out a bit - it's pretty cool!

I'm really looking forward to better image recognition technologies that can deal with motion and low light better, though.

I'm just imagining the day when I'll be able to buy glasses that do this.  ;D
