Hello everybody im curious what everybody is up to for Christmas day! I lost my family last year due to health problems so christmas is just another day for me , but i love to go skiing on it! And shopping on boxing day for myself and friends lol
what about everybody else?
I'm flying to Montreal to spend it with my family - I haven't seen them since Easter, so it will be a great time :)
We go to dinner and the movies on xmas Eve, and in the morning open all the presents, go to church, then go to a family's house (it rotates every year between 4 houses) and have the big family dinner... can't wait!
i have to work. if anyone wants to visit me i'll be selling tickets at the kelowna greyhound. again. :birdy:
There shall be four key parts to my Christmas day.
Family
Turkey
Eggnog
Rum
What more could you possibly need for a great great day?
On a side note, the McDonald's Eggnog milkshake is the most sinfully good thing ever, it sounds like an abomination but... oh god, so good... (a little 151 in there takes it from unbelievable to life changing.)
It's my mum's turn to have us over for Christmas day but my sister is going to Vernon so it is going to just be me and Mum. It will be a nice relaxed event. I'll be busy eating yummy foods and maybe getting into some baileys *grin*. Maybe I'll work on some drawing too ^^
Or all that could change if I'm lucky enough to find that special someone before Christmas... *blush*
My mother's hosting the annual "Christmas Dinner with the Family."
It's always an event to remember, every relative shows up half cut. :P
I don't talk to my mother, step-father or sister... and consequently my son as he is being raised by my parents. Not that he knows he is my kid anyway. Or maybe even that I exist.
My grandma is staying on the mainland for Christmas and I haven't seen my bio-dad for over 10 years.
Christmas is just another day for me too and I will be sitting on my butt at the computer... possibly drawing, reading fanfictions and playing Bejeweled Blitz on FaceBook.

Same thing I've been doing for a few years now:
Get up early with the kids
Do stockings
"Force" them to eat something
Do presents
Organize chaos
Travel to inlaws
More presents
Food
Home
Die of exhaustion
....
then get up the next day and do more of the same!
dinner christmas-day with family along with opening gifts in the morning. Also normally allowed to open one small gift the night of christmas-eve
Probably doodly-squat. My family is in another province (and there's not many of them left-- just my father and siblings), and I'm not even sure if I can see my wife for the holidays.
Remind me again why this season is festive?
(Edit: And yes, I am awake at 2:02 AM. I'm currently hashing through some camera setup. Pleh.)
For me, mom is coming out to visit. I will be having her for most of the holidays (she leaves on the 31st, in the afternoon), and I will be able to cook a thing or two... And hopefully, she will, too~
for me... will be a long cold wet week of XMas... with a can of beans :P
were barly keeping the house as it is so were lucky to get one gift
so i dono what i will be doing,
PS... if your reading this... stop reading and read someone elses post :P

I'll be running about the country stopping in with my parents and the rest of my family, which will consist of celebrating Christmas three times, three large dinners and a lot of alcohol. Then I'll be doing the same thing all over again for new years. Good times.
Moving across the country to my new position

I hear ya man, I just recently bought a little $180 number from winners. A raincoat by haight & ashbury, I wear it constantly, probably the favourite of my wardrobe right now.
i dont see why people get so hyped up on buying clothing, me, id buy 3 coats, one for rain, one for summer and one for winter, wouldent care bout price or look long as it did the job its crafted for
I just have one expensive jacket(cheap compared to a lot though) 1k leather jacket, its so expensive because its a big coat ^^ I love it! keeps me warm even in this winter weather.
Looks like i'm having a fur over for xmas to! Yay for not being alone on xmas

Hopefully this works.
Fuck it. >:(
Anyways there's a link to their home webpage, my utterly amazing jacket is an older cut of the white trench coat they have displayed from last season. The difference is mine is kaki coloured, lacks the studs, and has only one set of buttons.
Isn't it pretty? :gay:
here :P

Me too! It's tradition that everybody who comes over to our house on xmas bring a bottle of their own booze. :P
Then we all trade and drink until every bottle's nearly empty and everyone's either passed out or sick.
We have frangelico, black seal, captain morgan, baileys, kaluah, grand marnier, crown royal, okanagan ice wines. . .
