I was thinking about all the furrs of Van or any furries that can make it to van, that next time there is a furry event somewhere like rainfurrfest is Seattle. We work together and rent a large buss like a school bus, then travel to where ever we are going together as a group maybe even get a group rate at a hotel where ever the event is being held. I think it would be a fuckin blast and then the people that can usually make it can go cuz transport would no longer be a issue, if everyone put in money it would cut down are cost allot but the real reason i want to do this other than cost is that everyone will get to actually spend some time together and interact with other furries.  just an idea i hope people like it.  :-3 :-3 ;D ;D

We do this with Further Confusion each year. Trapa usually organizes it and we have a convoy/caravan of 2-4 vans usually it's a lot of fun liking a travelling furmeet and it's cheaper often though takes longer.

Hopefully it happens again this next FC in January.

Only issue is that you should have a letter from your parents/guardian giving permission to the driver to take you across the line.

Anyone under the age of 19 needs to have a letter as mediar said. From their parents stating the driver has their permission to take you across the boarder.

I have to do this with my family as my dad has 2 other children under the age of 19. And even though they are my family through my dad because we do not reside in the same house and do not share the same mother its required by law.

A phone number where they (the Boarder Guards) can contact your parents and verify they did in fact write the letter. And you good to go.

As for traveling to anything furry mediar and I drive and so are able to take passengers. (We do have our dogs unless pre arranged) I have issues trusting peoples driving (Including "professional drivers") So it's not that I don't trust you I don't trust anyone when it comes to driving.

mediar did not get to drive for nearly the first 2 years we were together. (Unless I was too sick to drive and then it was panic attack city in addition to being sick as hell)

Not only do you need a latter in regards to the vehicle, you also need a letter from your parent/guardian, stating that you have permission to cross the border, Nexus card or not. Keep in mind that if US Customs decides to do a random inspection, you could be screwed if you don't have letters for A: the vehicle, or B: For yourself, or C: Both.

Very true, I have my own ride so that is not an issue, but transporting a minor is D:

I remember needing a letter last time I went down to Oregon with my friends. The Nexus guards just sorta looked at it and waved us through without even calling my mom. It was surprisingly simple, the time before that it took me an hour to get through and I've heard of people being turned away without calling to confirm permission just because they decided it didn't look legit. I suppose it depends on who you get.

I'd just head out super early to allow time for being pulled and inspected. It'll be worth going to a con before I'm 18!
