Okay, I'm pretty bored and i have just been playing D&D once a week but that is not enough for me. I am up for trying any PnP roleplaying game as long as it is not that damned Fatal game. Problem is I would have to join it online, so either someone running a game online or willing to have one player in the group playing over a PC and Mic while someone like the GM does my rolls. Any game, I don't rightly care because I like trying out different roleplaying games. I currently have books for AD&D, D&D 3.5, Pathfinder D&D, All Flesh Must Be Eaten, Robotech, TMNT, Furry Pirates, Shadowrun, and Call of Cthulhu. I've been roleplaying for many years now and am always looking to expand on games I have played and improve my skill. Don't want to get stuck in a rut, you know. I can possibly roleplay over text like IRC or MSN I guess but I much prefer Mic and sometimes webcam. I can't play local face to face as I am all the way up in Kitimat. So come on folks, help a guy out, hehe.
Lol you don't even want to KNOW what I thought this thread was about.
*smirks* Oh Ember :P
Curious as to what you thought but also curious if anyone is running any games at all.
yah know I'm tempted to try for a webcam game of cards of some sort... I'm thinking Munchkin if each has our own single deck... or any other kind of card game like that :)
And no Ember... not THAT kind of webcam game :P
I have munchkin cthulhu.. >.>
I have Munchkin Bites, Super Munchkin and Munchkin impossible
Now you just need to round people up for online dnd or CoC or something and get a dm.
Ohh Ohh! there's a small network of us willing to do just that ^_^ I just got my DnD liscence from WotC so I can do Living Forgotten realms.. there's also a FAntasy grounds program that Floru has access to for CD keys :)

http://www.fantasygrounds.com (http://www.fantasygrounds.com) is the program; very cool program once you get the hang of it. I believe I have 1 or 2 keys left for about 10 duckies off for the player version and doesn't cost much more to go from player version only to DM and players version. The Ultimate license means that you can host any player who wants to play, even those who do not have a Player Key.
I run it for my weekly D&D Game on Tuesday Nights, and have yet to have a complaint about its use :)
If you have any interest in the cheap keys, contact me.
I would prefer skype or msn or even python or irc since they are free. Also, I had my license and wotc has yet to actually show any of the events I hosted on my account. Besides, I would prefer Pathfinder society after WOTC kept killing off living worlds characters with the whole "New edition so jump a hundred years. Human characters die of old age." And I am not much for 4th as I prefer AD&D.

Good old AD&D! I think I played 3rd edition once; guess I'm too used to 2nd.
And a cookie for Rukario. Two if he runs a game of D&D or any other game online.

You've done your research on me, haven't you?
I heard that google wave works pretty good for running tabletop games online. I heard it described as similar to forum roleplaying, but more dynamic. If I knew more I'd tell ya, but i figure trying it out is really better than anything I could say anyway.
Interesting, but it doesn't really help me find a role play group. Thanks though.
There used to be lots of online versions of tabletop games around the late 1990s, with play-by-mail games moving to email. But then they seemed to die a death when the likes of Everquest and WoW became popular. (And I should know, I used to be a professional GM for some of these.)
Ok, I'll work on something for an online game.
If you do, that would be awesome. Let me know what game (Cthulhu, D&D, shadowrun, all flesh must be eaten, etc...) and what edition when you know so I can prep.
It'll be a simplified version of 2nd ed AD&D.
Let me know how it goes. Oh and for non-D&D players, check out a game in beta right now called Apocalypse World. It's not bad. It is more story driven than dice roll. Like, the MC (GM) is not supposed to roll dice in combat. Just decide if the enemy or npc hits or not. It's a somewhat realism based game in health so a shotgun can kill you in one hit, rather than D&D's whole "Dude, there is an arrow sticking out of your chest!" "Yeah, but it only did four hp worth of damage. I'm fine."
