: Windows 7

Windows 7 is an OS i can trust, so far iv used it for a few months and it works wonders, uses half the systems resources.

Worried about Drivers?

Dont worry about it, this OS has you covered, the OS adapts to your system hardware so you dont need those pesky drivers anymore.

Alpha Build: 6801
First build released to the public, failed and now an obsolete OS system without all the advanced controls you have today.

Beta Build: 7000
Recommended for Beta Testing by Microsoft.

After Beta Build: 7068
Attainable from microsoft after beta testing for 6 months or a microsoft beta tester for over 1 year.

i recommend this OS for anyone who does not have knowledge of microsoft products, this OS is much better than vista and will be released this August and will be replacing Vista.

I've been using W7-7000 on my laptop as part of a dual-boot sicne the beta was released.  It seems to run pretty smoothly, a few hiccups aside.

Build 7000 is the old version now, so yes its still the Beta.

i am using Windows 7 Build 7068 which is the latest.

Not as many hiccups and Build 7000, and have a nicer login as well

I've played with this a little bit as a 2nd partition on my SSD here... it's alright, but not what I need, I guess. :P

I installed it in the hopes of being able to play some of my old games on my Intel Mac here, and it does some of the new-old ones, but of course not the really old stuff that was meant for Win9x.  Not that I expect it to.

I'm actually planning on trashing the partition and re-expanding my OS X drive back.  They totally ripped off the dock, though. ;)

FINALLY got around to installing it after sitting on my ass for the last several months :)

Unfortunately, it's missing a couple key drivers I need so I can't jump straight into it.  I'll have to dig around and find those first, if they're available :(

Otherwise, it looks pretty!  And I was happy to see that, coming from XP, all the stuff I needed was right where I expected it.  I think this will be a good OS if I can get it to see the rest of my hardware, hehe.
