Oyama, isn't it?
Judging by the vegetation, somewhere in the Okanogan.
If I didn't know any better, I'd swear it's penticton.
Im not saying anyones right so far, but i'd say some of you are pretty close, but i guess my picture was bad, heres a better one.

I forgot what the name of that town is if it is what I think it is. The town has a floating bridge and I think a golf course near by up in the hills.

Kelowna has the floating bridge an several golf courses in the area. The city is also home to Myra Canyon Provincial Park, which is known world wide for the restored railway trestles which you can walk or pedal across.
;3 this is why my mate needs to get a car and a drivers lisence again, that way i can see more of canada the next time i come over.

Yeah, most likely it is Kelowna, I go though it when I go up to Vernon.

Oh, Osoyoos, of course! The two lakes with the causeway between them should've been the giveaway, but I haven't been up that way for years.

HWY 3 east of the town of Princeton. The river is the Similkameen River.
Heh heh, yeah I think you got it.
Here is a google map of it.

I've never been to Osyosososus, but been to Kelowna/Winfield a lot. I was guessing the Okanagan area too :P

Nope. Not Vernon. Tai figured it out as well. His post holds the clue to figuring it out.

Here you go, Where is this place Located, whats its name
Things about the town.. its located In BC its home to a very large event every year, its also the crossroads for going North, South, East, and West. with a number of smaller towns all around it, a vast Forest and Thousands of hiking and mountain trails. Great for adventure.
BUT its the Black hole of BC sucking you back >_>
At a guess, I'd say Kelowna.
Can't be Kelowna, Kelowna's on either side of Okanagan Lake and doesn't, IIRC, have a design like this one. Having said that, I'm stumped, right now.

Prince George would be the obvious "crossroads", so... Prince George? I'm having a hard time telling where the picture would've been taken from, though.
Or Vernon, maybe?

It's not P.G. This community is on a lake. I know it's not Vernon, as I've been there often enough. I'd say it's in the southern part of BC or MAYBE AB (Alberta).

I was thinking maybe it was a particularly weird view of the river in PG. :) The description does say it's in BC.
Oh, actually, I think I know where it is - Salmon Arm? The shape is right, more or less...

I was going to say Williams Lake (Williams Lake Stampede), but the lake in the pic, is at the wrong end of town. That's ASSUMING that the "black hole" is P.G. Am I even Close Koda?

Having squinted at Google Maps for a bit, I think you're right - it does have that island/peninsula thing going on at the near end of the lake, as well as the barren land at the far end...
I think this is taken from the hill here, facing southeast: http://maps.google.ca/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=Williams+Lake,+British+Columbia&sll=49.891235,-97.15369&sspn=30.814043,72.597656&ie=UTF8&hq=&hnear=Williams+Lake,+Cariboo+Regional+District,+British+Columbia&ll=52.136926,-122.178054&spn=0.007138,0.017724&t=h&z=16 (http://maps.google.ca/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=Williams+Lake,+British+Columbia&sll=49.891235,-97.15369&sspn=30.814043,72.597656&ie=UTF8&hq=&hnear=Williams+Lake,+Cariboo+Regional+District,+British+Columbia&ll=52.136926,-122.178054&spn=0.007138,0.017724&t=h&z=16)
Hot damn Silver, I think you're right!!! Williams Lake is a crossroads of sorts, as you can drive north, or south on HWY 97. You can drive west to Bella Coola on HWY 20. You could drive east to Little Fort on Hwy 24.
I would like to try this with my own photo. How did you upload yours?
Ok, here's one for you. Seeing as I highly doubt that anyone else here would be familiar with the area, I'll just state that it is somewhere on this map:

From one of my various misadventures.
The city should be super easy to figure out, what I am looking for is the landmark I was standing in when I took that picture. A clue is the material the building is made of as you can see on the right side of the frame.
