I need to move out of the house I am in. Situations with roommate has become ridiculous and unfair.
I have two birds and two cats that are to move with me. I don't have my own bed. I cannot afford a lot, I can barely feed myself. Kithop has been paying my part of the rent. I don't know how much I can really afford. I would guess around $200 maybe... I never really know if I will get hours at work or not.
I don't know what kind of place I can get with my animals. I don't take up much space. I will sleep on a floor, I have done that for six months before.
I'm quiet and I help clean the house, often making sure that everyone else cleans as well. I need somewhere in the Surrey/Newton/Langley/Cloverdale area.
I do work, I work hard too. I work in Newton Safeway Bakery. I've been getting more hours lately, but they can be cut at any time.
I have a spare queen size mattress. You can have it if you can make use of it, and there is no deadline as to when you can grab it.
If you need transportation for it, I should be able to get Mike E to drop it off. He seems to enjoy helping people out.
*scratches head and looks confused* ok I can look around for a place for you but cant promise anything

Thank you Felix, not sure when I would need it but I would like to have it.

Thank you Sairys it would be helpful and appreciated.
$200? I dunno about that hun, that's even less than the Doghouse guys pay. I'll keep an eye out for something, but maybe it might be an idea to pick up a better job if they are going to cut your hours...Is Kithop moving with you?
Sorry to hear your situation isn't working out, msg me if you need to talk to someone ok?
Cheers

There isn't a better job out there for me Tor. I work in a bakery, and get guaranteed raises. Can't get a job anywhere else because everyone is firing. I tried bringing my resume into a burger king and they turned me away saying they just laid off two people and were going to be laying off more. Plus because I work in a bakery I'm not allowed to work in another fast food industry. I would get fired from my bakery job. And finding a job that will accept a kitty with a mo-hawk isn't easy. I won't bend to someone's style when it comes to my hair and body. I don't have a problem with clothing, as long as I get to style it my way.
Plus I've been talking to my boss and threatening to transfer stores >> He has seemed to gotten the idea now and I've gotten more hours. But I still have to pay $330 a month for my bike and insurance, plus my phone bill, plus my cat and bird food. Though the bird food lasts forever and is relatively cheap, it's the fruit and veggies that gets expensive.
I give Kithop all the money I can when I can. If my job picks up, chances are I will be able to afford $300-$350
There's a house just near my house that looks abandoned. I'm thinking of conducting an investigation, if you're interested. Send me a PM for more details, and I'll clue you in.

I'd rather not, thanks anyway. You said like two weeks ago you were going to investigate by yourself and you still haven't? Why?
This might not be the best suggestion, but I'ma throw it out there anyways. I've been in your situation before, but with a Saint Bernard. If you can get your hands on a tent trailer your options would open up a little. Some city campsites offer monthly payments, but the downfall is, it can get cold during the winter. It's only a suggestion.
Take no offense from this, but being in your situation 2 years back, I know it can get rough when the chips are down. I'm pretty certain you know this yourself.. you either need a full time job or better pay + full time job. Try places like warehouses, lumber mills, sheet metaling, even working in a line at a producer of some sort. These jobs pay usually $11+/hr & usually require full time workers. Hang in there I know it's not easy & can be extremely stressful.
Ps: Check craigslist, it's where I always shoped around for everything, jobs, cars, housing. Good luck with your search.

I'm not taking any offense at all. I have had many rough times. And as for the lumber and stuff, I can't do it physically because I fucked up my back when I was in grade seven when I fell backwards over the edge of a metal slide. Ended up in the hospital, and ever since then I've had back pains, spasms and lock ups because my spinal cord decides to crunch my tendons, muscles, and nerves at random times, especially during work. I work in a bakery, and that's already hard on my back and I don't have the body muscles I should have to do it and I keep pushing myself anyway. In order for anyone to actually be exactly at poverty level they'd have to make about $14 an hour. I'm way below at $10.50, if it wasn't for Kithop I would be screwed.
Im not sure about hair/body code, but the trifty's in white rock is where my mate is, and theyre badly overworked there, getting turnout all the time from people burning out. so my guess is theres prolly a few openings there if they need staff that bad
I might not be able to aid you in a place being that I don't know how my new cat would deal with others and birds but if you ever need any stronger pain killers just contact me :)
