Something really strange is going on - this morning I woke up in a place where I did not fall asleep.
Last night was a night just like any other...came home late, crawled into bed, fell asleep - but when I woke I was definitely not lying in my bed. It was hard, and painful, and dark - and from what I could feel around me everything was not in its right place. Took me a good five minutes of fumbling around in the dark before I remembered my phone in my pocket, and flipped it open, to reveal:

Thankfully my phone has a camera and a bookmark to this forum! I'm getting zero bars of reception, but I can still send data, hopefully.
In the lower portions of the photo you can see a big plank that I woke up on. There's a lot of crumbled wall and trash all over the floor, makes walking around in the limited light hazardous, but after a quick poke around it looks like this dirty basement-like area has no doors and only a little tiny square window at the back - so how did I get in here? There's just another ugly crumbling wall behind me.
The room has no smell and I feel no breeze pointing to a way in or out of here...but I can hear a soft hum coming from the ceiling above me. There's a machine on my right, looks like a boiler or something, but it doesn't appear to be on.
What should I do? I could poke around through the trash on the floor, or have a closer look at the boiler, or try and see out the tiny window. Maybe you can see something in the photo I missed. But keep in mind my cell phone screen is tiny and has a limited battery life so keep your suggestions down to a sentence or two.

look boiler
It's a big rectangular box with pipes coming out of it, and a bunch of valves on the front. I tried turning the knobs but nothing happened. It looks really rusty along the bottom, maybe it sprang a leak at one point?
Doh, you caught my post before I edited it ;D (didn't notice the boiler was off, and thus not hot!)

The walls seem pretty solid, I knocked down some bricks but there's only stone behind them.

There's a big chip out of the window now, looks like it was made out of some pretty thick glass. Even if I manage to break it I doubt I could even get my head through it - it's pretty tiny.
Looking through the window I can only see another brick wall, about a foot away. It's oddly dark outside, though according to my watch it should be daytime.

It's a box from "Ace Hardware". It's full of rubble and rusty bits of metal, but look what I found at the bottom!

It feels like it was cheap even before it was left to rust, but I could probably pry something good with it.
Use light switch (Left wall)
Use rusty item and carefully attempt to pry open the old boiler

Hey, now the light is on! Now that I can see a little better...

... I can try to pry this boiler apart.
...
Well, it fell off the wall. There's a hole behind it. I don't think I came in this way, but it may be my only way out.

Should I crawl into there? I can see a mess of pipes and more rubble in the back.
crawl into hole
It's getting dark back here - good thing I'm not claustrophobic!
I think I'm under the floorboards of another room. There are slats above my head, and if I move my head just right I can occasionally see a hair-thin ray of light coming from between the boards. I don't think I can pry them apart, they're pretty heavy duty wooden beams.
What should I do? I could examine the slats further, or the pipes, or the rubble. There must be some way of getting through the floor.
look at canister-like object in the back right
It's actually a pipe....hmm...

There's no supply valve or any other valve in sight.
Close valve

Close valve
Well, maybe that wasn't a good idea. There's a whole bunch of clunking and the pipe is beginning to shake.
I can hear the metal of the pipe flexing - it sounds like someone is crushing a pop can. It's loud because it's right beside my head.
crawl back out (quickly)

I think that's a brilliant idea right now.
I'm back in the room I woke up in:

Except the boiler is lying on the floor. The sound of metal straining is coming from the hole behind where it used to stand; it's slowly increasing in volume. I feel a little safer in here.
Hmm, Fap to pass the time "until the pipe blows"? :P
(Ok that was bad)

That's like 2 seconds! You don't really think that low of me do you?
There was a tremendous bang, and immediately after, the lights went out. I'm sure whoever owns this place is not going to be happy.
For the time being, I'm still trapped alone in the dark in a dirty little room. To top it off I think I just stepped in a puddle!
Come to think of it, I hear the sound of rushing water ???
crawl back into hole
Well, any explosion-related danger seems to have passed, so I'll go see what kind of damage that pipe caused.
A little bit of light from the hole is illuminating the floor, which is awash with water, presumably from the pipe...well, I'm already wet, but this kind of sucks. Maybe I'll find a change of clothing somewhere.
Now that I'm a bit futher in I can see where the light is coming from - there's a hole punched in the "roof" of the tunnel!
The pipe with the valve on it has ruptured, and is spewing water, which is running down into the room I woke up in. I think I'm going to climb out out of this tunnel...
...into a new place.
Not a whole lot better...the first thing I notice is the awful smell, presumably coming from that black mold. I don't really want to go near it.
Looking around me, the place looks pretty bare, but there's a bunch of doorways scattered around the room and some stairs up on the left.
I could really use a change of clothes!
(How many doorways?)
Let's check the closest doorway out.

(How many doorways?)
Let's check the closest doorway out.
There are five doorways and one stairwell that I can see - I'll number the doors from 1 to 5 from left to right.
The closest doorway would be doorway 2 in front of me. As I got close to it the smell of the mold became overpowering, but I covered my face and ran in. There was little time to look around, but it looked like a tiny storage room...I noticed a shelf at one end. I grabbed a box from the shelf, and run back into the room with the doors.
After catching my breath, I carefully opened the box to find...
They're not useful to me now, so I'll tuck them into a pocket.
What now?
Let's check the doorway farthest away from the mold, to give this guy a break. :)
