Acording to the elevator anyway, thought i'd bring it up for thoughs who go to gamesnight, kinda spooky. ^-^
Many places will do that, it's kinda bad luck to have a 13th floor.
Also, many streets won't have a 13 as an address for I think the same reason (tho I think that is less common)
Many buildings lack a 4th floor in Vancouver, as 4 sounds like 'death' in some asian language.
Yes there isn't a 13th floor in almost every building in Canada/US. Yes also there isn't a 4th floor in Japan since it is dead in Japanese [し(shi)= 4 and し(shi)=death]. Also you will notice that most of the windows downtown have a greenish tint to them, that is because of the old planner for the city liked them, and had a lot of the buildings built using that type of glass. I can go on with other architectural things but I won't bore people.
The most ridiculous STUPERstitions ever...
A lot of buildings actually have an empty floor for the thirteenth floor just so floor fourteen really is fourteen and not thirteen. I don't think I've ever been in a building that has a thirteenth floor.

There is a place that my Grandmother lives in. and it has a 13th floor. its the Legion Manor in New Westminster
I think I remember the same thing about Trapa's building... but it wasn't a blank floor, it just wasn't there. (I took the stairs, I hate elevators after nearly being crushed in one when I was 15. I'm in shape, no big deal. :P)
My building has no 4, 13, 14, 24th floors but with me and a few other furries who have lived or live here it has a lot of extra 'stories'. :P
