Last month on the 30th (Jan 30) I had my first fur meet... wow how great it was *smiles happly. It was just a simple get together with the 4 of us but was very nice. I was told that there was a site that had other furs near me so here I am saying "hi" =^.^=
I'm also trying 3D pictures of others fersonas though its tough but I'm willing to learn, maybe there are others on here that also use the program I use (Lightwave 9)
Anyway it's good to be a furry and good to have others near me, hopefuly my little monthly meets can continue with the furs on here, I live in Mission.

Ya I know about your meets in vancover from the furs I met but becaust of my full time job and taking care of my old mother I don't have the time to treck all the way out there on my work days (my days off are Mon Tue). I will go there on my week offs (I have 3 this year) so that will be 3 meets in Van I can do, the other times I was woundering if anyone that is close enough to mission that can come out to me for a simple meet. Because a Saturday will be falling on a work day for me I can only spare 2 hours on that day, but thats ok *woof*. =^.^=
It will be great to see other furs and have a reson to pad outside for enjoyment then just for shoping or work hehe.

Well Well Well... another fellow Dragonwolf... I'm tempted to ask about your fursona's history if you have one... I'm curious to talk about it...
The 27th is when I am planing to have my fur meet (the last Sat of every month).
As far as my fersona... hummm, I did alot of roleplay when I was little since I was a only child, I had a girl anthro wolf as a friend that would play videogames and outdoor play with me. When I got older I made storys about her and I going on advencures together, me as a dragon and her as a wolf. Later in life it just felt right to have her kindness and strong sence of family as myself.
So now I have a female fersona with what I feel a good dragon is (dependble, trustworthy, truthful, brave and bold) with the best of what a wolf is. (warm, soft, family, raw and submisuve)
I don't know why it feels right to have a female fersona, everytime I have a choice in a video game or in a RP seting I always pick the girl. I'm not gay or even Bi but I guess because I've been raised by women and or I a soft male and or I am a big fan of the female gender that I feel good having my furry side another gender them my male RL self.
The only times I act rough and "male" is when there is something around me or I see that is wrong or agenst what I belive, and another reson is if I'm needed to stand up and be brave like if a mate needs me to be male and tough then I will... Otherwhise I'm a soft, calm and understanding guy that is a big submisuve hehe.
In other words I don't act very male like unless needed or wronged in some way.

Nice... well for me I was always a fan of the old game Altered Beast.. where a dead guy becomes a Werewolf/Dragon/Bear/Tiger/Gold Werewolf... Suffice it to say I was enamoured with the Weredragon idea... and originally adpoted that as my alter ego...
Fast Forward 14 years later with my dog of those years.. and I find I want to be part canine, as I found I had grown emotionally closer to him than pretty much all humans(why I didn't pick outright dog is beyond me.. I guess there was something more primal about a wolf that I found appealing)
Anyways.. being the fantasy gamer(and a fan of the Persona series) Ludro was born as a shifter, the child/pup/wyrmling of a Werewolf and Holy Dragon, to the point where he really didn't have full control over his form, so his parents created a psy-crystal to not only keep him company, but to stabilize his form a little bit.
Eventually I'm gonna start writing a story about him and me... if I can ever get off my ass and start writing anything beyond cliff notes(maybe I'll hit up Foxglove for some creative writing ideas)

I don't know why other furs make fun of us mixs and I don't know why "Dragons" have a bad name... I think we are just fine woof.

Well I think there are some of the "Furry purists" who believe furries should stick to one breed... but I'm also a fan of the Xanth saga... and Love Elixer Springs(tm) are eternal... leading to the creation/breeding of Pegasi, Centaurs, Harpies, Minotaurs, Merfolk, Nagas, Griffons etc etc I'm not 100% sure on the whole Dragon reputation thing... but apparently people assign personality traits to Scale color(and it doesn't help that DnD constantly perpetuates this with their general personality traits for their various Dragon breeds) That said.. there are a few furries out there with less common fursonas.. (Rainrat's rat, Aphinity's Dolphin, the odd otter... I'd still love to see a girrafe furry personal... or even a hawk/owl)
and if you REALLY want to get technical... my Fursona is Celestial Werewolf Dragon rather than the standard Wolf Dragon, so that's even further removed from the "standard" fandom :P

*makes a sad face* It's sad to see this fandom sometimes war with it's self the way it does, one would think the whole reason for this fandom (for alot of people) is to find place to "fit in" and a safe way to express themself's with out being shamed... But there are fourms and other places that are all about furry but will hunt and make fun of everything and anything even being a fur in the first place.
Sadly there is pain and suffering everywhere you look with humans no matter what fandom or gathering of others there is, so I guess one just keeps looking till there is a place that fits them huh. I always felt bad for leaving a fourm or site when others treat me badly thinking " I'm not manly enough" or "I don't have guts to fight back" but I have found that staying in a place that is always a put down makes you feel not wanting to be a fur anymore even if who you are in your heart.
Even the best of us and most famous of the fandom like "Knotcast" or "2 the ranting griffen" can make you feel bad about being furry and afrade that this fandom is full of scary and dangerous people that only think of sex to the overkill. *sighs*

True yet I'm not the kind of ferson that gets back at another or does the whole revenge thing, I will defend myself and others but not because or through anger.... If not in any danger I'll just walk away from the hate BS that they vomit up at others.
