It's harder when a friend or member of the family dies. I lost my cat not too long ago too... She was my best friend in the whole world. She was always there through the hard times.
(I quote you Leinad on a funny topic of the definition of 'pet'. People are trying to pass a law to make animals family members, and call them as such, and have a different situation for other animals. Such as a guard dog that really doesn't have a loving home, is regarded as a pet. A cat that lives on a farm souly to hunt mice is a pet, it's a funny debate I've been hearing about for over two years now. I haven't seen anyone say the word pet in a long time since it's been going on XD )
