Anyone else locally play this?
I saw the post for DUST in the console section and though I'd ask in here.
I tried playing the little demo/trial of EVE 3 or 4 times and could not get myself into it, unfortunately. I was hoping for real-time combat a'la Wing Commander: Privateer, not the point, click, and watch method it uses (though understandably considering the massive scale involved).
That and it's too hardcore for a casual like me. :p There's a reason I switched from EverQuest to WoW years ago... I do love the general concept of a huge persistent star system to do whatever you want in, though.

And.. It was boring, I thought.

*shrug* each their own. It gets ALOT more enjoyable th emore people you know play it with you.
I play EVE and if I see you near my primary place of residence I'll blow you up... when I can be arsed to undock, been flirting with burnout since the end of the Fountain campain but, we have space and an awesome logo and we're a very very BDEAL (http://evemaps.dotlan.net/alliance/Important_Internet_Spaceship_League). Those who are into it enough might consider the monthy EVE meets down in new west I'll definitly be there this month as my alliance leader will probably be there talking shop with an another alliance leader.
