my music collection has fallen apart and I'm trying to rebuild it maybe with a bit of new music
thanks a bunch guys
I've been rather impressed by Dan Mangan lately - he's a local guy who does some really nice folky stuff. I love his lyrics, and he's got a great voice.

I'm a little zoned right now, but this is in my musical zone, so I'll see if I can find more along these lines when I'm more awake. =)
Another one you might like: the Avett Brothers. First time I heard this song I was emotionally vulnerable, and it made me cry. =P Great song. I'm not that familiar with their other work, so can't say if this is typical or not.

'nother one, an old favourite: Shawn Mullins. The slower stuff is atypical for him, but I really like anything from this particular album.

How bout Norah Jones.
