Hey Guys,
I'm thinking of moving to Vancouver and possibly attending UBC for a bachelor of Sciences in Computer Science OR Bachelor of Computer Engineering however I need to upgrade some courses to make admission requirements. I was wondering whether it would beneficial for me to upgrade in Alberta before I move or wait until I move to Vancouver to do the courses? Any help is greatly appreciated and works me closer towards the career I want to enjoy life in BC.

Contact ubc and ask them which schools for your upgrade would be the most beneficial to your goal. Then go to that school. Even if it is in Nova Scotia. If that is not a concern, then housing and employment come to play.

Personally I'd upgrade in Vancouver since you could also find time to get a job in that time and find a place to live.
