Because i know i cant be the only one here involved In the commercial fishing industry. So weather you run a fish boat are a deckhand or work in one of the many fish plants an to make it interesting lets hear about the boats or plants youve worked at

For me ive worked on my dads prawn boat the muriel D.2 since before i can remember, fished tuna on both thr judy lee and pacific lion from as far south as northern california to the lower end of haida gwaii and as far off as 300 or so miles offshore or so (also fished halibut on the judy lee off the top of vancouver island). Also fished herring on the free to wandder and thr pacifica in the gulf around prince rupert an the westside of vancouver island. Ive also put time in at the prawn plant in pender harbour

Il also be happy to anwser any questions or whatnot people have :)

Well, I do temp work, and the temp agency I'm with sends me to various fish processing plants.  I've been at:

Delta Pacific Seafoods, near Ladner (plant #1933)
Canadian Fishing Company (Canfisco), in Richmond
Pacific Salmon Industries, in Surrey
Pasco Seafoods (aka Precision Processing International), in Richmond
7 Seas, in Richmond

But currently I'm working at a warehouse rather than at a fish plant.
