: Mass Effect/Assassin's Creed styled cosplay help?
: Samurai Kai January 18, 2016, 12:19:27 -07:00
So for Fan Expo I want to wear N7 armor, but I'm going to have to put it together... also I want to add a Assassin's Creed styled hood, like the assassins wear with a hidden blade but instead of being an actual blade it's just an Omni Tool that has taken the shape of one.

I have nooo idea how to put this together, but for those who are experienced with putting costumes together I would absolutely appreciate any help!

There's a bunch of different ways you could do this from different kinds of foams, cardboard, different plastics, ect. You could youtube a bunch of different armor suits and it will show you many different ways to make things but still have the same end result regardless of chosen materials.

For most of my armor I use super thick foam and a foam cutter or layer vynil or just straight up plastic. If you are on a budget go to the dollar store and see what you can use. Most of my armor and and weapons are made from the dollar store and hardware stores. Painting makes all the difference too. Make sure you get the right paints and take your time to detail. Super glue can also be handy.
