I plan to get it.  I played the orginal Operation Flashpoint.  Hard but very realistic.

Good to hear, I am trying to dig up some local players for a LAN or a Co-op match

I dunno if the awful, choppy voice acting is still in the latest OpF, but it's a trademark of the series.

Actually, the makers of the series branched off and made OpF2 and another little-known game called Arma2, which came out a few months ago and has the horrible voice acting intact!  Look it up on YouTube sometime, it's pretty awesome.

The scripted audio is not to bad, nothing exceptional.  But the in battlefield call outs are so mono-toned.  Though at least the messages are clear.  I have learned to listen to my AI squad, they tend to spot things before me.

(I have yet to go online.  Have not had the time to really get into it.)
