I want to share a big thank you with the organizers and staff of CampFur 2015, your work and time invested in such a large event is much appreciated!

As an aside, I also want to say thanks to the furs who took the time to drop my way to just say 'hi', or to make sure I was not completely lost on exile island
(to adhere to the theme, as it were);  a cool event to relax, where it is okay to be a social introvert and not be a pariah.

I wanna throw my thanks are there to you Gizmo and all the other Campfur staff who helped make this event awesome. Aside from being drunk or passed out through most of it, I had a blast and I look forward to next years.

I also want to say huge thank you to Gizmo and Spike and whoever was involved in making CampFur exist! I had so much fun and met a lot of great people. Many memories and deep conversations were had and I left with the best experience I ever had in the furry community.

I'd like to thank Gizmo, Spike, Scooby, Sasha, Mervatude, Cowoti for making Campfur happen for me.

Thanks to the furs who came by the board games table.

Thanks to Gizmo and the other unknown furs who rushed to put out the fire.

Thanks to Gizmo and the other unknown furs who rushed to put out the fire.

Ah yes that was a first, and some of us thought we were getting on the truck to escape a huge fire erupting at camp! It felt great we all knew how to react and coordinate.

I'd like to thank Gizmo, Spike, Scooby, Sasha, Mervatude, Cowoti for making Campfur happen for me.

Great to know! Wish we could have had more tiki torches and other things to glue the crazy event together, but the zipline course and shelter building (yay Amp!) and all was a blast.

Tuckered out for camping for the year thats for sure..

Thanks to all the staff who worked hard to make this event memorable and it was heartwarming to see people come together to help with the fire. Don't know too many furs around the community yet but I had blast at Campfur and thanks to all the people who talked to me and made me feel welcome!

To everyone who attended - Thank you! Your support of this event is what makes it such a great experience for everyone.

To those who were not able to attend - Some of what you missed includes the 'warm' hot tub (more appreciated than a hot tub in the hot weather), an amazing zip line, a warm shower amongst the trees, and all the events that took place such as gold panning, swimming in the river, obstacle course, shooting range ... to name a few.

To all of my staff - collectively, you helped make this years camping event a memorable one for everyone. I look forward to your continued support to make the next CampFur bigger and better.

For those who were not aware, on Sunday (as we were leaving), we were informed that the entrance to our camping area was on fire. We put out a call to all the campers to grab buckets and pots and jump into the back of my truck. We drove to the fire and saw a large portion of the entrance to our camp fully engulfed. Everyone quickly went into action and we made a 'bucket brigade' - bringing buckets of water up to the fire and dousing the fire. We were able to put out a portion of the fire before the helicopters arrived with large buckets of water to put the fire out. The forested area is extremely important to me and to see everyone called into action, was encouraging and really appreciated your help.

Finally, thank you again to everyone who attended CampFur 2015. I am looking forward to seeing you all again next year!

Dang! An obstacle course and I missed that? Also, I'm glad everyone remained calm while taking out the fire. Kudos to all of you!

It had a lean-to crawl pit and tires and everything, even if underused! Maybe the fire was the bucket challenge, as we fought for the survival of the land and not only ourselves acting quickly and coordinated.

To anyone who received a tank top (Sponsor / Patron) or a jacket (Patron) ...
I have received word that some of you may be having some 'fading' issues with your shirts / jackets.
If you are one of those people, please let me know. I have been assured by the printing company that they will replace and reprint all defective prints.
I also do not want this going on forever so - I suggest that you
1) contact me right away to let me know you are one of the people effected - and
2) get your shirt and / or jacket to me no later than July 31st so I can take them in and have them replaced.
I will do what I can to distribute the new shirts / jackets however, the best option might be at a sushi night.
Understand that it was not my error - rather a mistake made by the printing company. They are doing what they can to make it right for us.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation and understanding ...
