So... Hi im Chris and well.. Im very lost, my friend who is a furry found this site for me when i expanded to him how I feel. so let me start, first hi, im new here. For the logset time I though a furry was a fetish where people dressed up as animals (dont kill me for saying that) But until recently I know its not. I have felt a animals me for a supper long time ( a wolf to be exact) and I always end up talking to friends about it and thay are like your a furry, but I was in denial. I would really like to get involved with the local community and meet other furs. It seams like im steeping foot into a new world ^ ^

Word of advice, and take it how you wish, but if you're in denial about being a furry it might be easier to confront that before trying to meet a bunch of other furries. It's easier for me, now that I'm completely accepting of my status in the fandom

It may take you a while to get out of that denial stage, but it will pass if you let it.
If you are in denial about things then I agree with the others, jumping into things face-first may not be the best thing. However the fact that you're here and looking means perhaps you are beyond that stage and ready to begin the slow immersion into the wonderfully friendly(usually) community.
Regardless I welcome you to the community. It really is a large world out there and in my opinion worth exploring. I'd look on the event board if you want to meet the community outside of the fur so to speak. There are plenty things to do and people to meet all around :)
Welcome to our community Chris, it looks like you have some drive to see what our fandom is all about - you'll find a *lot* of accepting people along the way and gain some life experience I'm certain. Hit some events up sometime! If it's difficult, get to know someone here who may go with you to one, it's always a lot easier.
