It's crossover camping madness;  is anyone also planning on heading across to the island for SurFur earlier in the month?
Biting is excellent;  it's like kissing, only there is a winner.

So can any fur go to this event?

Course, Immerse yourself in the outdoors and us - there are many new souls who visit and intermingle, it is a wonderful experience if it is your first time. If you feel a little uneasy, get to know someone who will come along with and you'll do fine.

Those damn otters Loial and Selkit will be there. Totally. All crafty and sneaksy and pesky... also, Gizmo, if you'd like, I'm volunteering to provide a keg of beer this year. I've gotten confident enough in my brewing abilities that I could make you a nice kolsch ale or a good lager, and I have empty, clean 20L kegs available to me.

Sweet! Beer is always a welcome thing at any camp!! Now, how to keep it cold ... ?

Loial and I have ideas on this one. Worst to worst, we do have a car, and could just bring a good deal of ice along in insulated storage. Won't keep it 24/7 cold, but for an evening session, it should be manageable. HOWEVER, because I will be keg-conditioning, not keg-priming, once that keg is tapped, it'll be flat within a few hours of being first tapped. May be almost more worthwhile for me to just crate some beer and bottle it up. I'm thinking from the standpoint of reducing the load on you having to get a keg or two for your public beer supply, Giz-roo. $30 or so covers supplies for a 20L batch, if I brew it (And you get whatever style/ABV%/hops you want), as opposed to the $80+ cost of a 20L brewery keg.
