Over a year ago I decided to take on the project of building a fursuit, and gathered my pocket money and hunted down some the materials. I spent over 150 on fur (but not quiet 200) on fur and who knows how much on other materials. After a few frustrating tries with foam and glue and teeth i decided it wasn't for me. my enthusiasm for fursuiting disappear and I decided if it ever crossed my mind again to do so I would hire a professional and stick to smaller projects like hats and gloves. My medium of choice is fleece so I'm stuck with this bag of fur I'm sure could go to better use.

I'm also trying to help raise money for a cosplaying project me and my freinds are starting (we're the crew from MA2)

I've got three lengths and colours of fur, two of them untouched, all three are one inch, thick and soft pile and were purchased from Fabricland. Black-40$, White-50$ and eggplanty purple-45.

Dimensions:

if your interested let me know, I thought I might see if any of you guys wanted it before i put up a craigslist ad

EDIT: gahh! why did the image turn out so huge?!?! my bad i guess

Things I need just seem to keep poping up here when I'm financially struggling...

I could use the black and white, but I'm comissioning someone to do my suit... I'll have to find out if it's enough.

Definately the white, maybe on the black.

You never answered me... do you still have this fur?

PurpleVeggie

Oh! yes I do. I'm so sorry for not getting back to you about this. I do still have it, so if you'd like to buy it or see it to make sure it's what you want then maybe we can set up a skytrain station meet  this weekend or I could make a home delivery. Just PM me about where when and what pieces you want

So where are the best places in the lower mainland to buy fur? I was at a Fabric Land in Langley and they had ugly stuff for $50/yard.

sometimes at fabricland they have this really soft 1" pile thats actually really good for fursuit making and they always have this weird short fur that must be used to make stuffed animals or something. The way Fabricland orders fabric is an opportunistic one so they have pretty random stock. Dressew in Downtown Vancouver also has a selection of fur but it's pretty seasonal, in fact Fabricland and Dressew both have a better selection of fur before Halloween. I got my fur at the Fabric land location on the East side of Vancouver and have no clue whats left, but there was some nice brown pink and grey fur there last time

I thought I replied... it must not have gone through.

Obviously the weekend mentioned didn't work.  I'm going to get a hold of the person who's working on the furry body parts for me, and see if he can come with when I see the fur...  then figure out the meeting arrangements, and go from there.  He's the one who can ultimately tell me if you have what I need.
